Axxess LC-CHRC-01 chime retention interface for non-amplified models. The chime retention interfaces will provide the warning chimes that are lost with the replacement of the OEM radio. 12-volt 10-amp accessory output is also provided. The chime retention interfaces are designed to be used in vehicles without amplified sound systems or when the amplifier is being removed. Retains factory 3.5mm Aux-in jack and is prewired for ASWC-1 steering wheel control interface. Interface will aslo retain the factory backup camera (if displayed through the OE radio).

Worked perfectly for my 2016 ram 3500 to replace my uconnect 5.0 and retain my aux input and backup camera functionality. You lose steering wheel phone controls and the console mounted usb port, but if you're like me the main function you need in a large truck is functional backup camera, and that works perfectly with my new head unit
This wire harness fit my 2016 Ram 1500. It was easy to hookup. No issues. My truck is non amplified and does not have steering wheel controls but this harness has the option in case you do. But you have to buy the interface separately. Overall it's a great product and I'm highly satisfied.
Installed this in my 2014 Ram 1500 to a Kenwood DMX4707s with no issues. Everything matched up color for color making it easy to connect.
