As with all MK mandolins, it features a solid hand carved spruce top. On the Elegante however, craftsman spend more time carefully carving and graduating the top for the best possible sound. The back and sides are all solid flame maple and the fingerboard is hand selected premium ebony. With this no-compromises instrument you will also get the upgraded solid tailpiece. It has more mass for increased tone and a design that eliminates rattles and makes string changes faster and easier than ever before. The Elegante mandolin is topped off perfectly with stunning flame maple binding. This exotic wood accent allows the Elegante to stand out from the crowd in looks as well as with its big booming tone.
