i have always bought michelin. I had an audi tt and they were wonderful...my husband died and I sold the tt and put michelin on his Toyota Solera. I have always felt the safest with Michelin on any car I have ever had..not that they all come with Michelins, however, when it is time to buy tires I go the extra money to buy Michelin.
This high-end tire won't deliver high mileage and it isn't designed to do so. This tire is to be used on high-end performance SUV's or for those who prefer safety and handling foremost. This is my second set. My life and my families life are the reasons I have purchased this tire. They have an amazing thread design offering stability and handling unlike stock tires that are put on SUV's. You'll find these on BMW or Porsche but never on a Toyota or Nissan. Speed ratings are important as well. Take a look at the outside belt design that carries over from the tire base and around the sides. That additional stability is essential to preventing a rollover or loss of control versus a standard issued tire. Well worth the investment in your safety.
I have been using the 4x4 Damaris on my 2006 BMW X5 4.4i since it was new, and I have found the tire to be an excellent perfomer that provides long lasting, quiet, and a smooth ride in all sorts of weather that I have encountered, and also to provide superior grip, traction and peace of mind. When it was time to replace the original equipment 4x4 Diamaris', I stuck with the same tire and have been just as pleased with subsequent sets as I had been with the first set. The Diamaris is an excellent product and is a perfect complement the excellent vehicle I have used them with.
Used on my BMW X5 4.4i, great all weather tire, good wear compared to other tires I have tried. Biggest problem is with the adverse camber on the X5 which wears tires on the inside edge of the rear wheels. best to chose a tire that is non-directional so you can keep swapping tires to even out the wear pattern.
I have ran Michelin tires on my owned cars for the past 20 years and would not run any other tire.I unavoidedly was forced on a four lane expressway in heavy high speed traffic to run over debrie from a prior accident. The Michelin tires performed as I expected they would and I came out of it with a few scratches and dings on the car and no damage to the tires.They also perform great on ice and snow. I could buy a cheaper tire, get less milage, and have the thought of hitting something in the roadway lingering in the back of my mind as to wether I would survive. They are well worth my peace of mind and the safety of my family.
This tire is as good as advertised...I only buy Michelin to protect my family. We take long vacation drives to the Outer Banks and they just keep going. I want info on run flats...that is the next area I am interested in and what kind of longevity I can get out of them.
my dealer put a set of michelins on my Olds Barvada and then I went for a long trip and back here and the ride and handeling was so good I want to put a set on my 2002 ford ranger 4x4 for this winter and get rid of the tires I now have on my pickup. With Michelin tires on both of my cars I know that I will have exelent tire service, control, and comfort, not like the 4x4 tires that make a lot of noise and give a hard ride. Thanks Michelin
These tires are of very good quality and very durable. They are very safe. I highly recommend them since the material or tires are very good.👍👍
The 4x4 tires make my truck so quiet in everyday travel and on long travel wow it is great a lot better gas mileage they last much longer than any tire I have ever owned I will buy theses 4x4 Diamaris tires agin it's worth the extra money for your families safety and peace of mind
These tires are much quieter than than the OEM's that came w/ my vehicle. So quiet in fact that I counldn't believe the old tires were so loud. Tires have very good grip in wet roads. I have yet to take the tires off road, but I expect taht they will perform fine.
