This met my needs and was a great buy for the price. I purchased 2 and to my surprise they are very soft.
The only really disappointing thing is that it is a lose fit on my comforter so it doesn't always stay corner to corner. Also, the holes between buttons are a little on the far apart side but nothing too unusual. GREAT value for the price though. Comfortable against skin. Glad I bought it!
Bought for our 9 year old son. Dark/Rich Black Color. Nice feel and fits perfect over a twin comforter. Worth $20.00 :)
I wanted a black cover for the white down comforter I had. This worked. It also came with 2 pillow sham things. I washed it when I first got it. It turned out fine. It's very thin and slinky, soft to the touch but not soft like a Tshirt, made of polyester but not stiff. It has brown buttons to keep the down comforter inside, which can be totally hidded by buttoning front to back instead of back to front like a regular button. It was missing one but I'll just sew something on there later, no big deal. Well worth the value. The pillow shams are on the smaller side. I have 2 new regular sized pillows (also from Walmart) and they make the pillow case flare out in the back. But at least they look full, not flat! Overall, if you're looking for something thin, black, soft, and cheap but not chintzy, this should work.
This material is not what I expected. It's 100% polyester, not the suede-like microfiber that I thought I was getting. It's also very thin, feels more like a sheet than a duvet cover. I ordered this with the free shipping site-to-store and didn't realize this until I brought it home and took it out of the package. I will be bringing it back tomorrow.
After this product arrived at my house I was already somewhat disappointed by how the material felt. It was however very cheap so my expectations were pretty low. After washing it, there was an awful smell to it that would not go away! I washed it several times, tried hanging it up outside, and I tried drying it in the dryer with several fabric softeners. Certain parts of the comforter smelled okay after awhile but for the most part it still had this disgusting stale smell to it. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this but needless to say I took it back to the store (did get a refund) but I didn't take my chances on purchasing another one.
I was looking for a simple black comforter but when I picked it up it wasn't what I thought. It looked like sheets. Come to find out it was a cover for a comforter. Maybe I didn't read it correctly but I don't remember seeing that.
