I am reviewing this just one day after buying because I am wowed by the price and the fact it has exactly what I need. The curve helps with comfort and is extremely easy to get used to. It has a mute key which I was only finding on much more expensive keyboards. I listen to a lot of music so pause, volume up/down and mute is great for a user like me. I know 2 days is almost nothing so I will come back in a couple of months and update.
My recent purchase was a replacement for the same keyboard model. I like the overall design and size (see prob details). The only shortcoming for me is that the keyboard has a limited slope adjustment; but that's not a huge deal since I placed something under it to increase the angle of the kb.
On my old keyboard I used my right thumb to type the zero key, and it takes some getting used to on this keyboard because the keys are not as high. This keyboard is nice and comfortable and has the extra multimedia keys to control the media player and volume, launch your email, search, home page, move back/forward in your browser, and launch your calculator. The spill resistant feature could prove usefull.
This keyboard although a Microsoft product turned out to be a very nice replacement to the one I previously owned. The keys are silent except the space bar but that is to be expected, also with the comfort curve design typing seems to be more efficient although will take some time to get used to. The quick keys work at plug in (as long as you are running a Windows or Mac based OS) and I am especially fond of the quick calculator key over the number pad section, this key brings up the Microsoft calculator that can be found in the program accessories; no software or setup CD was needed. I have not yet tested the spill-resistant design and do not plan on it for a while. I do also like its slim profile which fits perfectly on a desk also occupied by two full sized monitors and my PC. All in all a very nice Keyboard.
I bought this keyboard about a month ago, and it works very well. Is very user friendly. All you have to do is plug it in and everything works. The calculator button is very nice, as well as the volume, and internet buttons. Nice attributes, but not overloading. Very good price, for very good keyboard.
The keys have a very short, clicky travel almost like a laptop keyboard which I like. I would have liked just a little more angle on the ergonomic curve but it's not too bad. The space bar is a little wobbly, it feels loose but has held up so far. It's light and very attractive and at a fantastic price. I would buy again.
I was looking for a reasonably priced keyboard with quiet keys. This keyboard is quiet except for the space bar which is a bit noisy. The slight curve of the keyboard takes a while to get used to but is more comfortable as your wrists are at a more natural angle. I like the large Backspace key. The last keyboard I owned had a Backspace key that was the same size as a normal key. I would often hit another key when trying to hit the Backspace key and it got annoying. I also like the 'program' buttons that allow you to open local email, documents, calculator, etc.
This keyboard is spill resistant, curved, and virtually noiseless! I love it b/c it drives me nuts hearing someone click, click, click, on the keys but this keyboard u cant hear! The home row is just big enough for ur fingers while the other keys that u have to reach for are fatter which creates more accurate typing. The Microsoft 6000 is way cooler but for $20 I couldn't turn this down.
I bought this keyboard just over a year ago and it works ok. The keys have become very noisy and when my daughter uses it all you can hear is the space bar clicking constantly. The lettering on the keys is wearing away so, unless you are a great typist and don't need to watch your hands when typing you should be ok. Other than a pair of earplugs good for the price
I thought this was a great price on this product until I realized that it was only good for a couple months. It started out pretty quiet and had some nice features, especially at the price. Then it got louder. The longer I typed, the louder it got. Then the keys started to stick down. Any key that's at the outside of the array, like the tab, caps lock, shift and space, were sticking against the wall of the keyboard body. I guess I need to learn to type without caps or spaces, then this is just fine. Until then I'll buy something a little pricier that I can keep using for more than a couple months. And yeah, I typed this on my old clackity dell keyboard, the microsoft usb 2000 is in the trash can next to the desk.
