Excellent and very easy to use
Bought this product and so far I have no regrets. Love this tablet/labtop.
Great little tablet, still learning about Windows 8's quirks. Has some neat programs on it like fresh Paint, little kids love finger painting on it, I like the no mess! Fast, sleek, very portable.
I bought this as a replacement in lieu of upgrading my IPad. After comparing it to an Ipad Air 2 with a Clamcase I found that the Surface was more versatile. I am happy with the purchase but I do think that the battery life could be improved upon. I am used to charging my IPad ever few days and the Surface has to be charged daily.
I've only had this a short while, but so far, it's great. Set up on it was a breeze. The keyboard feels like a regular laptop board and is easy to adjust to, even though it's smaller than my old laptop. The screen resolution is great and it's very fast to boot up or open a new program. I'm very satisfied.
I purchased this for my son. He is an engineering student and said it blows the Apple ipads and Apple laptops out of the water! He is running Windows 10 and said it is easy to use and works great as a tablet or full computer. (I got him the keyboard) He is using Microsoft OneNote and can record the lecture as he hand writes notes. On playback of the lecture OneNote synchronizes a highlighter with the location of the notes taken as the lecture was given. On top of that he has several projects requiring the programming of Arduino Control processor. The USB3 port makes this possible which beats the iPads again.
Early Christmas present, the Surface Pro rocks. Feature I like best is that I can Bluetooth it with my cell phone and laptop.
I have been using this device for myself at my Job for the last couple of weeks. it seems to be durable but as with any device I'm sure if you hit it right there will be issues. The power is amazing, I can even run several virtual machines on it while running around working on things. my one major concern, is that it has a Fixed Focus 5MP camera. the 5 mega-pixel part I'm ok with, but the fact that the rear camera is fixed focus makes it near useless for anything you need to be able to read. Other than that caveat. I can do everything I'd expect out of a laptop of equal power, and even a fair amount of gaming.
