The active use portion consists of (1) a web browsing test accessing 8 popular websites over multiple open tabs, (2) a productivity test utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, and (3) a portion of time with the device in use with idle applications. All settings were default except screen brightness was set to 150nits with Auto-Brightness disabled. Wi-Fi was connected to a network. Battery life varies significantly with settings, usage and other factors.

light weight and fast processor. easy to operate and nice design.
The build quality of Microsoft Surface Laptop Go is better than any other brand that runs Windows. This laptop feels like what MacBook is MacOS or Google Pixel is for Android. The hardware made my same company as the software. There is no bloatware, just Windows.
The computer set up easily. It was a gift to my granddaughter who was tired of carrying her old heavy laptop to college classes every day. The weight and size are perfect. The only problem is the pen recommended on the website isn't compatible with this Microsoft model. Can't return it. No longer have shipping bag, but never opened the box
I love this laptop! I previously had the surface with the detachable keyboard. I prefer this much better. The battery life works well and I like the touchscreen. This is the perfect laptop for someone not wanting to break the bank and looking for something to surf the web or use it for personal use.
