Works as expected and Windows 10 Upgrade is easy and fast.
I am an Apple guy, have been for a long time. And I still am, but, this is the one thing that Microsoft has gotten right! Love the surface so far. BUT, although the screen is high resolution, the display driver on this sucks for watching movies with very dark scenes, as it has a banding issue that makes it look like it's being displayed on 16 bit. With that being said, I still love it, and I don't watch enough of those dark movies for it to be of concern, but this is something that I hope they update soon.
Hey I noticed a couple of negative reviews on this site and just wanted to say DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM. One guy gave it 1 star because of "value". He said he bought a Dell with a 500gb hardrive instead. What he failed to mention, is that 500gb harddrive is old technology and probably less than a third of the speed of the solid state harddrive in the Surface Pro. The surface does have significantly less memory, but it boots up from complete shut off almost instantaneously. The thing weighs 1.76 lbs and is a marvel of modern engineering. You pay for the R & D that went into creating this product. It is the most portable, actually useful device ive ever used. Another review said constant overheating/issues, which is just plain wrong. The customer must have gotten a bad unit (which does happen occasionally) So if you are looking for an ultra portable laptop replacement. This is your best bet. The thing is amazing and I am a huge fan.
My son loves his NS Surface Pro 3. It provides him everything he needs for college and more.
I have the pro 2 which loved, but cannot compare with this in no way, speed, slim, the keyboard, I just love it, there are a few short coming but the positive over come them all.
Really easy to operate and moble. I would recommend this item for anyone who needs a computer for college.
Great product, but ad is misleading. Tablet does not come with keyboard, which is available for additional money.
I absolutely love my new Surface Pro 3! It works and run smoothly and has a beautiful resolution. The shipping was quick, but the packaging was terrible. The box was half opened and there was only one peice of packaging material in the bottom that didn't seem to help much. Definitely reccomend though!
This appears to be a refurbished piece of junk. Won't turn on and wasn't in Microsoft box with any instructions. Don't use this third party vendor
I purchased the laptop and had great success and satisfaction with the product until I started to battle the Sleep of Death. The Sleep of Death is a common problem that users face with the Surface Pro 3 where the computer becomes unresponsive during sleep and hibernation. This can leave the user with a slim chance of reviving their computer. I have battled this three times in the past month. Each of these took a minimum of 48 hr to resolve (no computer or files for 48hr). Luckily, Microsoft has released updates to "solve" the problem. Despite this claim, these issues still persist among many. Currently, it has been 2 weeks since my product has worked, and support tells me that I have exhausted my avenues. To be honest, I am shocked that there are no class action suits being filed for this.
