The Elite is the best video game system made thus far. It's awesome with the HDMI, 120 gig hard drive, and a new color for the 360 series. It gives a picture perfect quality, and I have a home theator system with HDMI inputs which gives the surround sound on many games and also movies the best. The video quality is perfect, and nothing can beat it. I'm a HUGE Halo game player, and I would love to have the special edition system, but it doesn't have the hard drive storage space that the Elite has to offer. I honestly recommend this product, and it is worth every penny you spend on it. You have error problems with the regular 360, and I have not had a problem with this unit yet. I bought it the day it came out. Good luck to all of you that buy it, and I hope that you enjoy the usage of it.
This product is definately worth the little extra above the Premium system. You get 5x the normal hard drive space to rent movies and download demos from Microsoft Marketplace. The HDMI output and cord that comes with it makes connecting to an HDTV a breeze too!
IF you are going to buy an X-box, make sure you get the larger drive... Everyone that I know that has purchased a standard x-box has complained about the sace constraints... This one rocks!
When using a 720p hdtv, I don't notice much of a difference between the hdmi cable and the regular component cables from the 360 Premium. However, I recently upgraded to a 1080i tv and the picture quality on the 360 is just AMAZING! It is considerably noticeable when playing games like Madden and Oblivion. The black color is also nice cause it is something different than the standard white which in my opinion got kind of boring. If I had to buy a new 360 I personally would buy the Elite over the premium because not only does it have the HDMI cable (which is ever so nice, not bulky) but it also has the bigger HD which is good for if you like to download tv shows/movies, game content, etc.
Havent had any problems with it so far and Ive had it for about two months. Works great with my 32" Vizio. High Definition is the way to go. The games are so much clearer. Ive went through 4 different white xbox 360s which were the older models without the new processor and HDMI output on the back. They say the new Elite has some upgrades from the older versions that prevent the RROD (Red Ring Of Death). Ive had it 3 times already. It also doesnt heat up as bad as the earlier versions. If your going to buy an xbox 360 buy this one. It has more memory and it only costs you maybe an extra 100 bucks. Well worth the money. Hope this review is useful to someone.
Man, it was quite a prize. It had a new 120 GB Hard Drive and a new black wireless headset. Experience the elite with this new black Xbox 360 for $450. Get yours today.
By far the best system on the planet, lots of options for online play, if you want good games the Elite delivers, also might I add the Elites don't have the red ring of death so don't be afraid. The 120 hard disk is amazing. Get one today!!!!
My brother LOVES his xbox 360 Elite 120GB Console. The graphics are awsome. There's a nice selection of games for it. Once he beats his game he can't wait to start it over and beat it again. It is a bit pricey but according to him it is so worth it. He is more then happy with it.
I CAN SAY THAT IS REALLY GREAT DEAL AND i LOVE THE HDTV CABLES AND IT IS LIKE NOTHING I HAVE EVER PLAYED AND THE 360 LIVE IS GREAT ALSO.
After doing alot of research on ways to consolidate all of my home entertainment needs, The XBOX 360 Elite (120 GB HD) was the clear choice. The Sony Playstation 3 is a fine machine however portability and compatibility were two major factors in deciding which of the two consoles were superior. Microsoft is the clear winner in this compatibility test. Additionally I think that for someone who is probably not of the average age of the typical "gamer" I think that an older and more mature consumer will find the backward compatibility issues a major flaw in the Paystation design and consequently a value added feature that would make the XBOX a better investment. Right now many of the orginal XBOX games are less expensive than their 360 counter part, thus making them a smart investment for someone who will use the machine more for movies and music than for its gaming capabilities. I hope my review help others as they decide which of the two machines will suit their digital entertainment needs. Cheers
