After years of not getting into the next gen consoles, because I had been gaming on the PC, I got this freaking sweet Halo Reach 360 bundle. It comes with all anyone needs to get going on multi-player from right out of the box: slim unit with touch controls for power and tray (SWEET), cool sounds to match Halo game (SWEET), 2 controllers with batteries provided, wired headset, and a couble bonus goodies like the "Recon Helmet" and Elite "Officer" armour. All I had to do was hook up via HDMI to our Sharp Aquos, and run a standard ethernet cable to our Netgear router, and purchase Xbox Live Gold for a few months and we're on-line. My 6 YO old daughter loves to play split screen Halo Reach with me, and her nephew who lives 3 hours away, all chatting at the same time we're playing. A great purchsase! Why wait for Christmas? Get it now! :D
I've had my Xbox 360 for a couple weeks now and have been very impressed by it. Haven't tested the 3d support yet, but HD 1080p works very well and looks awesome on my 65' DLP. Battery life on the wireless controllers seems decent. The included game, Halo Reach, was a little disappointing in its length, but is a decent game overall. Was not thrilled by the fact that online play requires a paid subscription to Xbox Live Gold, but from what I have been told, its more secure than over-the-internet play. Also not sure I like being hit constantly by ads when the system is online. Otherwise, very happy with it.
The new XBOX 360 is exactly what I was hoping for. I went with the Halo Reach edition to avoid smudges, and because I'm a big Halo fan. The new fan design is much more efficient. The system is whisper quiet, graphics are good, and the overall design is sweet. I'm very impressed with the units quality. I'm also happy about the internal wireless adaptor--for once it seems that Microsoft didn't go completely cheap.
Amazing. That's all I have to say for this Halo Reach Editioned Xbox 360. I was so excited after I ordered it because I've never had an Xbox/Xbox 360 before. It met pretty much all my standards except for coming with the HD cables, however that wasn't a big deal. I loved the touch sensors and the cool noises that came out of it. No problems so far, and the controllers made all my friends with xbox's jealous. A month free of live with 250gb was great also! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new system/upgrade. Cheap Deal for a special edition xbox, with TWO controllers, bonus content inside the Halo Game (Recon Helmet, etc), Touch Sensors, Kinect Ready, and sleek xbox.
This xbox is very cool I got it about a month ago and I couldn't of asked for a better xbox. Yeah it was $399 but with the extra controller and halo reach game which comes with some cool add ons inside it is defenitly worth it and I use this console everyday cuz I play a lot of games online and it's very quiet.
We bought this for our son and he is going to love it. It is a much better deal considering you get the game, and an extra controller. Plus the silver console. Very cool.
Very pleased with the Xbox360! Everything that I expected.
Are you ready for what's new in your future? You may have noticed that Halo Reach has become 2010's most anticipated game. This new limited edition bundle is a must have if you are about to get a brand new Xbox 360 console. You must buy this! Start saving now or else the others will come fetching for the rest of this franchise!
i bought this contraption for my son.Boy he was happy.number 1 game system and game on earth halo reach.a lot better than the ps3 for sure .
My dad got this a month ago and we are so happy! The value is great, and the video is simply breathtaking. It is amazingly detailed and far surpasses any other gaming systems. The controllers are fantastic too. They work perfectly, someone can even walk in front of the sensor without breaking connections and they feel nice in your hands. The dashboard can be very annoying though. The menu names don't really match the content. It's also hard to navigate because it side scrolls and only shows a few of your options at a time when there are 15 options you have to keep flipping. Additonally the dashboard is mostly advertisement. But it doesn't really effect gameplay. It also has a nice feature where it links up to your computers and displays pictures, movies, and plays music. The music alos has the best image generator. It works seamlessly too and without hassle,. But the computer you link to has to be on. Plus the games and trials work well and there are lots of mini games you can download too and game trials and trailers for free. You can also acess help videos from the dashboard and videos with info about upcoming games, features, and of course kinnect. And of course the limited edition design is fun too! But when you get x-box live you have to purchase different acoounts for different gamer profiles. so if you have 4 people in your house eac h person has their own prpofile. You wouldn't be able to share profiles either, your profile is like a memory card. Your progress saves on your profile, so you can't have multiple files on the same profile for one game. So for everyone in a four person family to have x-box live you would have to pay for x-box live four times. Wich can get steep fast. So the cons are adds, annoying dash board, and x-box live prices. Pros, amazing grahphics, absolutetly seamless gaming and controls, and help videos right in the dashboard. Overall I truly belive this is better for the wii or playstation 3 and a much better value.this i sperrfect for any family or gamer of any caliber.
