great headset, my wife go it for me for Christmas and it outshined my turtle Beach headset.
This headset has good sound, it doesn't have "true" surround sound but it does a good job of simulating it. In Destiny I can now tell what direction the enemies are coming from and when your in the middle of a huge firefight you do feel a lot more immersed in the game. Mic works good and it's nice that it folds up into the headset when not in use. I paid $40 for mine at Amazon due to the box having been previously opened and for that price they are Great ! I would say that for $60 they are a decent headset.
Bought for my son for Christmas and the mic no longer works. Expected better from Microsoft.
