Egyptian oud with classic tear drop shape and bowl bottom that has 11 nylon strings and adjustable hardwood bridge. The body and neck are made from dark red mahogany wood and have a stunning shiny finish. Its soundboard is made from cedar wood and it has a pick guard to help prevent scratching the sound board, as well as a wooden arm guard at bottom. The sound board also includes 3 oval shaped sound holes with a darker edge around them. The decorations can vary from those photographed. This item includes a nylon gig bag, owner's guide and pick. There are multiple tuning options for instrument, but we recommend using the Arabic method: DGADGC. This oud has a range of a little more than 3 octaves.
