The radio worked for about three months and then it stopped transmitting and receiving. I sent it in to Midland on warranty. I got to keep everything except the radio. Midland sent me a new radio and everything, they got my new radio back to me in a hurry. I now have two of everything compatible with this CB Radio. I mounted it in my Silverado and it works exceptionally well. At first I had magnetic mount antennas to use with this radio, but now I have two fiberglass antennas mounted in the stake pockets. These fiberglass antennas, whips, are Barjan rated at 500 watts. I get about 4 & 1/2 miles range with these two whips. The radio holds up exceptionally well. I have the Mic mounted to my storage compartment above my rearview mirror. This radio looks and works really well. I'll only ever buy Midland Radios. Midland is Great.
I have owned many Midland CB's over the years, and they just keep getting better while keeping the price very real. This model offers the X-tra talk mic gain voice control to be heard, noise blanker to hear what you want and being digital, you get the true frequency with great sound. A lot of features packed into this awesome CB for a price that can't be beat.
This would make a good starter radio for someone just starting out on CB or do not have a lot of money to spend . I prefer the Cobras .This radio does everything it suppose to . Kind of plug and play , not to much to do beside plug the power in and screw the antenna in and talk . You do need to set the standing wave . That sets the radio to the antenna . Look over all the radios and do not be in a hurray to buy . I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a cb radio . Shipping is kind of slow . Enjoy your radio .

Very good radio. Transmit and receive is great. Midland always made a great C B radio. I remember them back in the 1970's and they were quality radios back then. I recommend this radio.

I have installed this radio in a tractor trailer . The radio works great looks nice. You cant beat the price I have seen the same radio other places 20 to 30 dollars higer.The Midland brand in my opinion is second to none. I have a Midland CB in my car that is 30+ years old and still works like new. I have been using Midland for along time and wont buy any other brand. Great product you cant beat Midland.
I love technology cell phones, text and all that, however when it comes to CB radio the tower is never busy, you always have signal and must of the time you can find someone on the other side. Old technology is more reliable and this radio us a good quality, reliable communication tool.
this little radio does everything i need it to do, have had midlands in the past they have always been good solid radios.and still are. a little advice do not skimp on the antenna. the better the antenna the better this little radio works. great price, shipping was fast, was hooked up and jawjacking in 3 days. thanks to wally world.
i bought this radio as a christmas present for my farther it lasted about 3 weeks to a month and it stopped trasmitting we got a new mic and that didnt solve the problem this product is an absolute piece of junk ohh be careful it could be a remanufactured one that they are pushing off as new.
