I just received it, and tested. It looks like a very bright light that should be very useful in an emergency or for repair in a dark place. I have not had the need to use it yet, but will know more when that happens. They should have a warning on the outside of the package, to avoid looking at the light when turning it on to test. The light is extremely bright. A good thing to use, but bad to look into. Make sure you have it turned away from your eyes, when you turn it on.
Just received my new work light, this is just the best little work light around, very bright and you can stick to a metal surface flat or can stick bottom so light shines down, switch is one light on or two lights on, if nothing to metal to stick to you can stand it up or has bungee hooks to use, over 4.5 hours of life on 3 AA batteries. Very handy to use just about anywhere you can think of
I use to use propane lanterns when I go ice fishing. Now, with this light, it's less costly and much safer. And a lot brighter. The bungee cords attached to it makes it easy to install anywhere.
I do many chores, both inside and outside of the house. This mini D Light was designed by someone who knew what they were doing. It uses AA batteries, which allows me to use high capacity rechargeable NIMH batteries, maximizing power & duration of lighting. It's lights are bright LEDs, adjustable for high/low power, and also maximize duration of lighting. It's design allows for hands-free illumination (no one needs to hold a flashlight for you), and it's combination of permanent magnets, foldable D-shape, and built in bungee cords means you can use this almost anywhere (except on the surface of the sun !). Within one day I had to use this at midnight in a dark parking lot to get under the dashboard of a car to locate a blown fuse which would not allow the car to start. The size and maneuverability allowed excellent hands-free illumination in the tight space, and I was able to get the car started and return home. An EXCELLENT PRODUCT !! I've already bought two more so I can keep one in each car.
This is the smaller light - bought it because the batteries are the easily replaceable AA variety - it arrived in perfect shape and we used it soon after - not long enough to know just how long one set of batteries will last but no doubt for hours at least. It is very bright - great amount of light for small projects and emergencies - very easy to use, very handy design allowing it to be set up for hands off illumination anywhere - or like a flashlight. We also bought the larger version offering twice the lumens (400 lumens). Dittos to the above. However, I hesitated to buy it because the batteries are non-replaceable rechargeable batteries. Since LEDs purportedly have super longevity, it seems inevitable we will have to trash the light due to battery failure - not LED failure. I would have much preferred having common AA battery power instead of rechargeable but non-replaceable ones. I hope that variety of the larger Might-D-Light is offered soon!
This isn't just a flashlight. It's a flashlight with helping hands. Finally someone got it right and produced a product that you get your moneys worth for. I love the hooks that mean I can use it in places that ordinary flashlight couldn't. This is my 2nd light! The 1st was for me & the 2nd was a gift for my brother.
I purchased this as a gift for a friend who restores cars. It is very bright and easily adjusted to aim the beam where needed. I am confident he will use it under his cars, in the engine compartment, and at his work bench. Turn it away from your face when you turn it on, as it is VERY bright.
