I bought this for my daughter who is on the volleyball team at school. She loves to practice at home in the back yard. She loved this ball. The color, the feel, overall no complaints.
Nice volleyball for the price but came low of air. My daughter got her coach to pump it but they put too much air so she has to wait and let some air out before she can use it but it's the same brand her school uses and the price is very good.

Competitive class to me means tournament quality or construction. This is just a volleyball with a foamy, cheap-feeling outer covering. Paid $19.99 and could have spent less on a heartier stitched ball. Disappointed in lack of accurate info regarding what it was made of prior to purchase on-line.
The volleyball looked great online, but unfortunately I didn't check the material. The volleyball only lasted 10 days before it popped. The material was similiar to foam, which prevented it from resisting frequent use. The volleyball also got dirty easily and cleaning it was not easy. It works good for casual play, but for training it won't last very long.
This ball arrived deflated, in a plastic bag. It was not in gift-giving condition. I understand that balls such as this are sometimes shipped deflated due to weather, but it is important to notate this in the product description. Ball is not in gift-giving condition. I have to go out and purchases a pump now.
