As a hobby I go out to goodwills,marketplace and yard sales to get discarded/old furniture pieces often to rework,bring them back to life and make them beautiful again. I really liked this product a lot! It was so easy and simple to use. It was not at all gooey and messy like many other products I've attempted to use. I was also surprised at how fast it actually dried. I highly recommend and will only use this product from here on out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MINIWAX Wipe-On polyurethane clear Satin stain is simple to use. I used a dry cloth to apply the stain to a wooden door emblem. I really like that product is water based making any spills or “hiccup “ easy to remedy. Clean up is so easy when using this product. I also plan on using to touch up some areas on an older hardwood floor that has some scratches. Would recommend to family and friends.

It's incredibly user-friendly, simply wipe it on and admire the results! It doesn't feel sticky or tacky, and the appearance is outstanding. Additionally, it has a subtle scent and goes on smoothly. Before sanding and finishing the piece, I opted to test the product. To test the product, I have an unfinished picture frame that needed varnish. I tried using the Minwax Wipe on Finish and it was beautiful. This water-based finish looks more organic and beautiful than the varnish finish I applied to another DIY project. It is easy to use. I plan to apply the second coat with a sponge brush. A little goes a long way. I am glad I found this product.

It does take several coats to build up the finish your looking for, but it is so easy to use it is 100 percent hassle free! Literally take sealed wood, and just wipe it on and don't touch it for a few hours! Then just wipe it down again and again until your happy.
