I use these to replace white rice, they have helped me maintain a healthy lifestyle. (Make sure to wash the funky natural smell off of these before cooking)
Enjoyed this rice with my keto dinner the other night. I find the texture like boba or tapioca. Pretty good when mixed into things. Needs to be washed really well. No fishy taste or smell after. Will buy again.
Taste great, looks like rice, I used a teaspoon of Avocado oil And a teaspoon off powdered jerk seasoning wet one cup of mixed vegetables and a pinch off Himalayan sea salt. Taste amazing.
Tasted great! Very easy to prepare. I'm able to eat fettuccine alfredo, without all the carbs.
Used this "rice" last night. It smelled bad out of the bag, but after following the directions, it didn't smell at all. It doesn't really have a taste and the texture is different than rice, but it was still good. I used as just plain rice with butter and black pepper.
The fact that I spend well over $100.00 every 7-10 days. I usually spend $150.00 to $200.00. I could not believe I was charged $3.99 for shipping. Shame on walmart. I will be watching for charges like this from now on, and will cancel product if i get charged for shipping.. ridiculous ! Gesina Forbes !
To expensive compared with other brands
I tried to eat these a few times. They are very fishy smelling. Believe me. I have rinsed, and rinsed, and put in pasta salad. I just cannot eat them, tossing them out.
The description says pack of 6. I purchased 2 what I thought were packs of 6, but I only got 2 single packs. Great deal if you get 6... terrible deal if you get 1.
If I could give this negative stars I would 🤢 looking for a rice sub to use for poke bowls so I could cut down the calories and this was NOT IT. The bag is full of fluid, you strain, rinse and then throw in a pan to “dry off”, however I didn't feel like the product ever really dried off, it was just slimy. I tried to hit it with some higher heat and the little pieces started to pop as if it weee pop corn. I attempted to doctor it up and luckily took a bite before adding anything else to my bowl and I almost vomited. Even with salt it was tasteless, and the texture is just disgusting; think large slimy fish eggs or tapioca. Skip the lack of a miracle here and just go for the real thing, your tastebuds will thank you and I'm sure you daily caloric intake will forgive you for the decision
