The magazine rack was just the item I needed to place my magazines, etc.. All the magazines and newsletters I receive I was leaving on the dining room table, and whenever company came to the apartment I was putting the items on the table in a plastic bag to sort through later. Now, I place the magines and newsletters in the magazine rack and sort through as I am placing in the rack. No more clutter on the dining room table, and the magazines and newsletters have a resting place.
It's a sturdy magazine rack. The assembly was a tad tricky in spots but posed no problems in the end. It goes very well with our black furniture. I love the mission style; very simple, yet elegant. I ordered it Site-to-Store. It arrived in just a few days; the associate in the store was great and made sure we checked the box to make sure all parts were there before leaving the store. Only down side to the design is that the center rail is only on the top, so some of the smaller magazines slide down to the bottom. Would be nice to have another rail farther down to prevent that.
This product was ordered as an accessory and turned out to be larger than what I expected. The wood is a very good quality and assembly wasn't difficult.
Very sturdy. easy to put together, could use a little more glue though. it is large enough to hold quite a few book and large size ones also. better than i expected, very pleased
Straightforward instructions and easy to assemble. The middle divider would be better suited as running all the way down the rack versus just a top bar, as the magazines do not stay upright. Besides this minor pet peave, it looks fantastic and it sturdy.
Plan to use the wood glue that comes w/ product & glue is included along with other unused h/ware. It looks as though already assembled in one peice but I was wrong! Just a little time consuming, not really that hard. Looks Good now that I have it together & seems pretty durable too!
I really love the look of this magazine rack but had a hard time putting it together. The small wooden pegs that came with it needed to be glued and the sides would fall apart before I could screw the support pieces together. The holes for the anchors were too deep and the large screws were hard to line up with them. After I finished I realized I had forgotten the middle support bar but the whole rack would have had to be taken apart to add this piece so I just left it out. Maybe someone else wouldn't have had the same problem but I was really frustrated when I finished!
Just got this rack. My husband had no problem with the assembly. Rack was larger than expected, but great for the price. It's sturdy and looks expensive. I wish the middle divider went all the way down, so thinner magazines don't slide down. It will fit tons of magazines and/or books.
I bought this product for my boyfriend's birthday. I was really glad that I had no problem assembling it. It looks nice & seems sturdy. I can't wait to give it to him!
I like the look of this but the design is so that when you put any soft magazines in they fall down to the bottom because there is only a middle divider at the very top of the rack and it needs one lower down. Comes unassembled.
