It tracks max/min temperatures but it turns itself off after an hr so you don't get an idea of the temperature variations in the room its in.
This product has great features. However, it workes for a few days and then you have to open it up to dry out the water that gets inside.
Returned to store after one ten-minute useage when it went blank. Appeared to have water underneath the glass in this "waterproof" product.
