Good price. Good oil
I have 1990 Corvette ZR-1 which requires a higher level of Zinc additives than the regular Mobil 1 10-30 now provides. I have never had a problem with the regular 10-30 but knowing the high mileage 10-30 has the zinc levels my car requires is definitely worth the extra $2 per 5 quart premium to pay.
I have used this in my Dakota since 2016, never had a issue with it and my engine is not leaking oil.
This is a good way to buy oil if you have a place to store it in your garage or pole barn. It's a good price and if you change it yourself, it's less than half the price of having it changed.
You can't beat mobile1. I've been using it forever on all my vehicles. the best there is, the best there ever was, and the best there ever will ever be, period.
I use Mobil products in all my vehicles, power equipment, and motorcycle. They've never let me down. As a diesel tech with over 20 years experience and having been born and raised in the trucking industry, I've seen many things. Everything that I've ever worked on which ran Mobil products faired far better than other brands. This is why I trust Mobil and use nothing but. To the public that reads this, rest assured this an HONEST review. There's no pay off or anything of the sort. Thank you Mobil for all the hard work and dedication to a great product!!
I really like this product. It really pays for itself. I would normally change the oil in my Vehicle every 3000 miles or 3 months. But Mobil 1 allows me to change the oil as long as the filter lasts. The oil is synthetic and unlike natural oil does not break down. So if you by a filter that has 3X capability you can change the oil every 9 months. Even though the oil is more expensive it works out to become cheaper because you only change the oil every 9 months. This oils co-efficient of friction is less that natural oil and causes less wear on the engine components (Cylinders and such) hence the engine should last longer. A friend of mine kept his Ford escort (4 cylinder) for 10 years and put 170,000 miles on it, the engine still ran great when he got rid of the car. In addition, since less energy is required to get the engine up to speed (less friction) the car get slightly better gas mileage. Ditto for the acceleration.
Substituted this product in my 1998 class C motorhome with the Ford V 10 engine. Was using Amsoil 10W-30 signature series oil, but not economical due to oil consumption. This is a good compromise between value and protection
Always used Moble 1 and when I went over 110,000 started using Moble 1 High Milage synthetic. Great oil pressure and don't need to add oil between changes (5000 miles).
Walmart will dump 5 quarts of oil across your porch and steps if you choose to have this item shipped. BEWARE. They have extremely incompetent people packaging items.
