money well spent, any body looking for crib should buy this crib, is well worth the money, looks very nice.
Just put this crib together and very pleased and satisfied with the product! I'm 7.5 months pregnant and I put this crib together in under an hour (by myself). It was easy and you only need a wrench (included) and a philips screwdriver. What I like about this crib: Value for price: this crib is actually now $10 less than when I purchased it. There have never been any recalls for this crib (or for this company, in the past 10 years). The wood seems very sturdy and not too soft. The paint finish is even and not splotchy. I did site-to-store free shipping and it only took 5 days to get here! Hidden dropside mechanism: some of the other cribs I had looked at in person had exposed dropside glides. The dropside rail seems sturdy. I'm sure it would be smoother if all the glide parts were metal , but all the other cribs in this price range have plastic glide parts. The mattress support is a metal spring coil base and can be adjusted to 4 levels. Some other cribs i saw in person only had a thin piece of MDF to serve as the mattress support. The description didnt specify, so i was pleasantly surprised to find that it was metal spring coils. Helpful tip: I also ordered the Serta Nightstar Extra Firm Crib Mattress. The dimensions are: 52.5x27.3x5.8. I chose this one because of the thickness of the mattress. I'm still deciding whether or not to keep it b/c it is very snug lengthwise, but could be more snug from side to side. All Serta mattresses seem to have the same dimensions. I think a Sealy might be a better fit (52x27.5) but they are only 5.3" thick.
