use it for outside instead of inside to see which strays come up to eat my deceased grandma fed them so i am keeping it up and even though its not best quality it gives me good enough photos and video as well as constant alerts of whats going on from its viewing angle needs better support for mobile data it needs wifi to change camera setting from night to day and vice versa
great little camera works great outdoors with having a magnet i stick on any metal
I love this lil thing. It was very affordable and it serves its purpose. Iâm in an apartment and I get alerts so I watch Live from work which is mainly my daughter or the baby plundering through my room and makeup. Main reason i got it is because i came home one day and my back door was slightly opened i had only left for about 15 mins I believe it was my neighbors kids because my daughter heard them one day say lets go steal something (off my back porch) I love that i can talk through it also. Great product for the price.
I bought four of the Momentum Axel Wi-Fi cameras for security around my business, these cameras are absolutley great for the price, great picture and features, it has automatic alerts for motion and sound, it has two way communication, the internal storage is only for 24 hours but you can put a micro SD card in it. (Up to 128GB) You can set schedules for recording on motion and sound, you can also set up zones. This is an awesome product and I would highly recommend it.
I have had one camera since February 2018. I am very thankful for this purchase! This camera recorded while I was at work, caught someone breaking into my apartment. The recordings clearly showed his face as he walked by the camera. He was arrested a week later. It sits inside my apartment. I have purchased 2 more cameras since the break in. You can set up the app on your phone to receive alerts. Only 20 second recordings. You can purchase the cloud for 7 day recordings for 5 dollars a month. 30 days for 10 dollars a month. Or insert an sd card and get alerts and see live feed for free. Your recordings will be in the sd card. Alerts on audio and motion with recordings. Plugs into your outlet with a 8 foot cord. Has a magnetic bottom. *Cons* If motion is detected, it may not pick up right away. The recordings will only be 20 seconds per clip. You can only view this from your phone app. Not by computer............I recommend this product for an inexpensive home system if you only need 1 to 3 cameras. All cameras purchased has been the model axel.
Its not wireless. It has to be plugged in to an outlet or battery pack. Videos good but i cant view the live feed from anywhere but home which sucks. But its decent. Only does 20 second clips
I've owned this camera for two years. At first the camera worked great, stayed connected, recorded daily, and could look at live view. Set up is a pain because it takes several tries to connect to WiFi. After a few months the sound quit working and it would record and live view when it wanted to I guess, which was never when I really needed it to. For the past month it hasn't done anything even though it's still connected and when I try the live view from my phone it's just a spinning icon that never loads. I've decided to junk it where it belongs and not purchase this brand again.
I wanted to use it to watch my newborn puppies when I am away but its not reliable enough. Everytime I go to look at the view it take a long time to sync up. Remotely when I try to see that the puppies are ok it wonât load and i have to close the app and reload it several times.
lets begin. cannot be viewed without using phone/tablet application. will not record more than very short clips, you dont get to adjust this at all. someone walks into frame triggers event records for 20sec in my experience with this camera if they stay in frame it may start recording again for 20 seconds, maybe, it depends on how the camera "feels" about it. there are very very very sparse configuration options, again only available through the phone/tablet appplication that somewhat kinda change how bad it is at motion detection. if its important this camera act like a camera in what ever situation you envision for it do not get it find something else. to be fair its resolution and audio are very good for the price but the manufacturer crippled this device.
If I cold have given less I would. DON'T buy this camera. it works somewhat good during your subscription time. Only records about a minute at a time so it may miss some things. you can see recordings and take pictures and view them till your trial subscription ends. Once it ends the camera is basically useless. Yes you can still see live feed from the camera but you can't see any recorded activities recorded on your phone once the subscription ends. you have to physically remove the SD card from the camera and put it in your computer or tablet etc to view what is on it which is useless. what good is it when your away and want to view whatever set off the camera to start but you can't
