Bought this 2 weeks ago. Set up was easy and this a very nice workout. The extra special thing about it is that you can also sit down while exercising, not having to be on your feet at all times. It makes a difference.
Don't hesitate! Good workout with a small footprint and not too pricey. It was a bit of a chore to assemble but if had two people (as suggested), it would have been much easier.
Excellent elliptical machine for the price, although the bike is far from the handle, not enough adjustment to make it close to handle bar as for my size. Overall its good machine and not annoying sound, space saver perfect in front of TV.
This was a great product from Wal-mart, at a fairly good price. Just wish they had it set up in the store so people can actually test the machine. I enjoy it!
This product is a great value for the money. We are enjoying it daily. Easy to read screen and operate. Easy to assemble. Enjoy your Weslo Momentum Trainer.
Overall the Weslo suits my needs. I was looking for an inexpensive, machine that will give me the convenience of a good workout at home- but it does have a couple of drawbacks... The instructions to put the elliptical together were very detailed but I found that if you're not careful you'll get confused about what some of the pieces that are just bagged together and not labeled are. The machine is great for a shorter person like me 5'2" but I don't think is suitable for a person over 5'8". The stride is very short - my spouse is 6'6" and he said it felt like sitting on a child's toy. Don't expect the sturdy gym quality machine. You will also need to put a mat underneath it because it tends to slide when using the elliptical option. I love the bike/elliptical option - it's a great choice for someone who is too busy to go to the gym and would like to workout out at home in front of the tv!
I expected this exercise machine to be better than what it is, but I guess it's ok for it's price. I thought there would be different pedals for cycling but the pedals are same for elliptical and cycle. Also the handles are too far for cycle. So If someone wants to do cycle exercise you will have to do hands free. Overall ok product I hope It can help me lose some weight.
This product seemed like it would be fine as my husband and I put it together. It only was missing two washers so we weren't too worried. The next day after it was all set up I went to use it. It was smooth and felt just like any other elliptical I have used. I did notice a bit of resistance when I was on it for about 20 minutes. I just assumed, "well it's new maybe it has to be used a couple more times." Definitely wrong. Went to use the very next day, (don't forget, two days after setting up, one time of use!) and was completely annoyed to notice that something had to be grinding on the belt inside because I could barely move the pedals forward to get going. So we take that apart and peek inside and sure enough the darn belt looked as though it was about to come right off and was ripping. We called customer service at weslo and they proceeded to tell us that item is "really backordered " and we probably should take back to store. Thankfully we kept reciept and box for item. Seriously, don't waste your time or money with this product. Its a joke.
I had this item for 1 week and returned it. For a low impact piece of equipment there was a lot of impact. The hybrid did not offer a smooth glide and the tension never felt right. I have arthritis and this was very hard on my knees.
This shipped and arrived within a week after ordering. Upon opening the box we noted two missing parts (item # 26- the spacers between the handles). There were directions to call for missing parts, stating NOT to contact Walmart directly and to contact the manufacturer. Customer Service at the Manufacturer sates there will be a month before the missing part is available.
