My family played this game and absolutely loved it. It adds a whole new dimension to the regular monopoly game and you never know how your luck will turn out with all the dvd's scenarios. I totally recommend this game.
I've always liked Monopoly, and this is a fun new twist on it. I love the the game is over whenever you want it to be. The new rules where alittle hard to get use to, but I guess it's like that with every new game. One thing I don't like about the game is when they say 3 to 6 players, you have to have 3 to 6 players. Can't play with 2 people or over 6 people.
This is a great twist on an already good game. It is very entertaining , would reccommend it to anyone.
Monopoly has been around for a very long time, and for a very long time has been a long drawn out game. This new version of monopoly, utilizing interactive DVD play, revolutionizes monopoly game play. The rules can be somewhat ambiguous and unclear at first, but after one complete game you will understand the workings of it. It takes a few minutes to get used to it and to understand all of the rules, but it is a much more pleasurable experience than the original. I have always been a fan of monopoly, but even as a fan I am glad to see this change. It adds a variety of new options for your monopoly to include casinos, parks, and restaurants. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys playing family games and/or has children who like the original monopoly.
I have played monopoly for years and years and I honestly don't think I have ever finished a game. I have played various versions from Star Wars to Transformers to UNC-Chapel Hill and I have never been able to finish any of them - even if I was winning the game. I got bored with the game because it just kept going and going. I actually bought this as a gift for a friend of mine who loves Monopoly. Of course, we had to play right away and I have to admit that I absolutely loved this game. I never got bored because there are so many different twists that the game can take depending on the decisions you make on the DVD. We had so much fun with this game and my friend who is VERY competitive didn't even get upset when he lost. We actually played the game three times that night and when it comes time to suggest a game for our game night this is one of the first games that we think of. I would suggest this game for people who love Monopoly AND the ones who don't. It has the same rules and concepts of the classic for the die hard Monopoly fans, and enough twists and turns to attract new fans of the game.
