Great value and awesome guitar. Once I tuned it after arrival, guitar was ready go with proper intonation and string height.
Excellent value - the guitar is in perfect shape and quite playable after a quick tuning. The gig bag is lightly padded and a perfect companion to the guitar. Delivery was quick - arriving 3 business days after the order.
This guitar is a diamond in value. Very good fit and finish and ready to play after tuning it up. Everything works as it should and surprised by the quality for a beginner guitar. Truly a diamond in the rough , so in the future, can easily upgrade parts. Its a lifelong keeper if one chooses to do so.

For the price, it is a beautiful, well crafted guitar. I only paid $99.00 for it, and it is the biggest bargain I have every received as far as a guitar. Not only is the guitar top quality, the enclosed gig bag is too!! It's not the typical "nylon" gig bag that is only useful to keep the dust off the instrument when not in use. This gig bag is heavily padded, and it lives up to it's name - I won't have any hesitation using it taking it to a gig. (In fact, the guitar comes packed inside the padded gig bag for extra protection, and it did it's job. I just received an Epiphone Les Paul, roughly five times the amount I paid for this Monoprice Guitar. The Epiphone arrived with a broken headstock, even though the shipping boxes weren't damaged in any way shape or form!) I was so happy with this Monoprice Electric Guitar, I purchased two more this month. They were on sale, both under $100 dollars with free shipping and both of them are absolutely stunning guitars. Excellent craftsmanship, beautiful finish and excellent action without any fret buzz or sharp ends. I'm so happy with Monoprice Guitars, I plan on purchasing even more next time they have a sale. Many low cost guitars have low quality. Monoprice can be considered low cost with exceptional high quality.

Have a few of these myself, but bought this one for a friend. Birthday gift for his sona and think he is going to like it very much.
This would make a great gift for a beginner, or for the hobbyist in your life that likes to modify guitars.
The overall quality of this guitar seems to be ok, but as you can see from the photo, the neck just doesn't fit right. I have this guitar and the Cali classis sss and they have the same issue. I know this is an inexpensive guitar, but the neck on my son's toy guitar fits better. I hope monoprice is listening to this review.
