The game is a continuation of the great monster hunter series. Though this game got a benifit of a reworking. The game itself for older fans will be quite a new experience. Most of the older monsters have been removed aside from the rathian, ranthalos, and dioblos. Though they where replaced with a selection of newer monsters. Thought to break it down, bonus's and minus. Bonus- New monsters Tons of weapons and armor Couple of new weapons New area's and underwater combat. Online usable for US users finally. Negitives- Even though there are new weapons several where taken out (ex:bow, hunting horn) Loss of a lot of the old monsters (over 30) And because of loss of monsters, loss of armors and weapons.
I'm glad I purchased this game, well worth the money and exceeded my expectations. The game puts up a challenge at some parts, and that's what I really like about this game besides the new weapons. Thank you Capcom, for another great game!
fun game for all ages.
I gave this to my adult son, who is visiting me for Christmas. He says it's a great game and he's really enjoying playing it. One of the quests was a little difficult, but he said using different weapons enabled him to capture the creature. I've watched some of the game and think the graphics are good. It seems to be very entertaining.
MAkes me miss zelda.Definitely a great game.A little disapointed that the words are so very small. But i can cope.Overall a enjoyable game with a zelda resemblance!! ENJOYABLE!
This is by far the best game I've ever played! My brother got it for me for Christmas, but I'm not sure if he got it at Walmart or not, and within a day or two I was on three star quests (that's pretty high for only a few days#.The following is a list of the pros and cons: pros: *amazing graphics *fun and easy control #depending on what type of controller you use) *free range control *good camera angles *good plot line *there are many, many, many more but that would be an incredibly long list cons: *defies physics; the hunter can swing giant sword that is twice his size while wearing armor that is at least as heavy as he himself is Thanks for reading!
my son loves this game-he rented it several times so I bought it for his birthday
Capcom made the best game EVER! My found lent it to me as a "demo" and i love online playing. Also the graphics and gameplay. I was suprised how well it was. How could it be better??? (monster hunter 4 quad?)
GREAT GAME HARDER THAN I THOUGHT BUT A LOT OF FUN
MH3 is very different from MH3U. Monster hunter tri is a strange entry, it has only 9 weapons (including 3 bow guns that play the same) and only 18 monsters. The game does not include Loc Lac because Loc Lac was shut down years ago.
