Monster Hunter World is amazing

This game is simply amazing. One of the best games made in the past 5 years . The different monsters feel alive when your fighting them and each one is different. Also defeating a monster is very rewarding. The weapons feel very good and each one is unique . No weapon type is better then the other they all have different strengths and weaknesses. If you don't like the weapon your using switch to a different one until you find one you love. The character customization is insane and you can even customizes your cat friend. Give this game a try and don't give up right away and you will be rewarded by one of the best games in a long time.

Heeeeeeeey that's pretty good!

Whoa I did not expect such a great game to come out in January, but take that with a side of salt. Although it's a GREAT game it's for a specific kind of player. If you've played Warframe, The Division, or even that god awful mess called Destiny 2. Then you should feel right at home. Now what makes this a great game is the sense of progression. Not by level(which is called HR in the game) but by gear. You can only progress through gear or you could say "screw it" and probably finish 20% of the story without upgrading anything. But since you progress through gear that incentives players to grind and hunt for monsters. Which is only enhanced when you play with your friends. So the mechanics and gameplay of this grindy game make it unique and enjoyable but if you came here wanting a story i suggest getting another game like The Witcher 3 or Dark Souls.

all i was hoping for

wonderful game, huge world that keeps opening up the further you get in the game, tons and tons of costumes you can assemble after taking down the beasts, lots of great abilities via potions, and tools, and so many weapons to choose from, really liked the original from years ago and this is so much better

Not for me BUT my husband loves it.

Not gonna lie at first I hated it and I still don't absolutely love it ... the story is repetitive and it's not the kind of game I could see myself replaying I will admit that the scenery within the game is absolutely beautiful regardless though . On the other hand my husband absolutely loves this game he loves the action, graphics and the story. He has played it countless times like I have honestly lost count of how many times. so I guess it really just depends on your preference.
