This extension box is the coolest you can literally plug in 8 things at a time! 6 plug ins and 2 usb cords for your cell phone if you don't have a box. Or plug in your cell phones if your wire has box! Plug in to charge your Nintendo switch or laptop or even your lamp! I plugged 3 things in at once and all were charging and all got a great charge! There's a switch on left side that turns on the night light. Plugs into wall nicely and has a stick that goes into the bottom outlet while the box plugs into the top outlet. Hard plastic feels sturdy, monster is a great brand! Glad I chose this one!! I plugged this into my wall behind my couch I do wish they had the usb plug ins around the boarder of the monster box so that the wire doesn't bend with charge since behind my couch but still does the job!! A lot of charger boxes go missing in my house so this is super convenient. I highly recommend!
This wall tap surge protector is easy to install. It takes up a whole outlet and gives you 6 outlets plus two usb ports. I love the whole look. Its black and looks super heavy duty. Its the perfect size. Not to big and clunky, but big enough for several things to be plugged in at once. I like that it fit flat and snug with no wiggling around. This wall tap surge protector also has a light at the bottom which i like. It has 3 settings. Bright, low, and off. The bright really isnt that bright, but its bright enough. The switch to change the setting is on the side of the surge protector. The two USB, ports are very convenient and straight forward to use. I tend to loose the wall plug to my phone chargers so this saves me from having to keep buying or borrowing them. Overall this is a great surge protector and i definitely recommend it
This was exactly what I need when I was looking for a surge protector and adapter that allows me to turn one single electrical outlet into six. The convenience of not having to have cords snaking through the room or using extension cords is no longer a problem or eyesore. Also I feel good knowing my electronics are protected in the event of a power surge/ lightening strike. This is so much affordable than having to buy brand new electronics. And I was so pleased with the nightlight which is something I've never seen on one of these before. It feels it is made of great quality, not cheap material. Easy set up in minutes and it is actually very easy on the eyes and looks high tech. Will be ordering more for me and as Christmas gifts.
Great power station for my countertop and the usual excellent monster quality. Includes three outlets, two usb charging/power ports, and a nice nightlight that can be set to off, always on, or automatic to turn on and off with change in light level. Works great as a charging station with enough additional plugs to accommodate other chargers or small appliances. Light is good at night to help find things on the counter. It fast charges my phone just fine. Have had no problems with the USB ports working for anything I've tried. My alternative place I've been trying another one of these is over by a window where it can power my Wyze Cams without needed extra adaptors. This will give three additional outlets and two USB ports for the Wyze Camera and another USB device or another camera. All without the wall-wart adapter plugs. Just a really useful surge protector with USB and night light. I like it on my countertop (nightlight is great) but might get another to use to wire my Wyze cams without losing plug sockets. The additional surge protection will help keep everything from being zapped too. This would also be good for a multimedia setup. It has three plugs for equipment and USB for charging or powering USB powered devices (eg. Bluetooth transmitters). The nightlight will add a bit of ambiance for dim lit areas to work around the equipment.
Finally a surge protector that plugs flush onto the electric outlet on the wall! I have the surge protector strips in every room to plug my TV, Sound Bars, Game system, and laptops. This takes away the need for those because I can now plug all of those things directly into this surge protector and don't have to figure out how to hide the bar strips I had. It has 6 outlet plugs in it which is more than I need especially with the entertainment center where I also plug my wifi router in. I definitely am getting two more for mine and my son's room.
The Monster Wall Tap Surge with 6 outlets and night light is a life saver . I was tired tucking away my bulky surge protector and looking at a wire mess . I was able to plug in my computer, printer , monitor , radio and desk light . The plus for me was the night light feature , 3 mode settings so no more fumbling around in the dark to find an outlet for my charger for my phone . I plan on purchasing more for the rest of my home . Definitely recommend it .
It's double grounded (not sure of the terminology), so you're limited with where you can place it. You'll need to place it somewhere that will allow for it. I've attached a picture so you can see what I mean. When sticking it into the wall, I needed to place it up top, so it would fit, which only gained me one additional place to plug things in. Not really worth it if you're just going to get the version with three. Although the USB opening is nice. Overall, pretty good.
What I like most about this product is that it expanded the 2 outlets next to my couch, where I often work on my laptop, to 6 while offering 1200 joules of surge protection. Therefore it gives me peace of mind when leaving my laptop or other electronics plugged into it. The LED nightlight is a nice feature and bonus, with the ability to turn it off completely for power conservation. Perhaps this wall tap surge protector was created with the intention for travel or moving around to different outlets, because it lacks a screw to hold it affixed to your outlet. This means that unless you hold onto the unit while unplugging your device, the entire unit will pull out of the wall outlet with the plug. Again, this may be ideal for moving around to different rooms or for travel, but I would prefer to have a center screw available to keep more permanently affixed.
Honestly, I wasn't impressed with this surge protector. Not that I really expect much from a surge protector, but I would definitely not switch all mine to this one. I'm not crazy about the dark color since it's a six plug outlet and the size is large so it's very noticeable. It wouldn't be a problem if I was using it behind a cabinet for the TV and those type of things but I needed it in my kitchen and it just sticks out too much. That is a personal preference though It feels like cheap plastic and there is something rattling around on the inside when you shake it like something was broken. Not sure if it's supposed to be like that or just mine. It worked fine though even with that. The plugs were tight and I had to almost force my plugs in which I'm not crazy about but at least stayed in. The nightlight switch is nice and can be on, off, or auto and gives off just a tiny bit of white light. The surge protection indicator light is red and easy to see. That's pretty much the only good thing I can really say. I was a little disappointed with it overall and have owned nicer looking ones in the past. If that's not something that bothers you, this isn't a bad choice and it will do the job, but if you are like me, this might not be the one you want to choose.
This Multi outlet adaptor has all the features you would want plus one that you wouldn't expect. First it has six outlets. This sounds great but it's poorly designed. Most cell phone or tablets now use a charging block which because the outlets are not far enough apart blocks the use of the outlet next to it. You can see what I'm talking about in the pictures I added. Yes it does have 2 USB charging ports which most cell phones can use but some electronic like my tablet uses a block charger. This should be designed to allow block chargers to be used without compromising another outlet. This could easily be accomplished by having the outlets on each side instead of the front. Another issue with the outlets being in front is it really can't be used if it's behind an entertainment center or in my case behind the front of my bed. I tried using this behind my bed because there's an outlet directly in the center. Unfortunately because the outlets are in front I couldn't use this Outlet adaptor. The plugs were being smashed by the bed. Again it would greatly increase the places you could use this Outlet adaptor if the plugs were on the side. The 2 USB ports are great. Obviously most electronics now use USB. There is another feature that is useful. It has a nightlight. It's small but pretty bright. I tried to show the nightlight in one of the pictures. If you don't want this feature, no worries can be shut off. Overall this does work but I'm not a fan of it's design.
