Once you put the dresser together it is more than what I had expected. The draws are long and tall; I have more than enough space to put all my clothes. I also, love the four top draws. Now I am organized. I would buy another one if I had another room.
I love the dresser now that it's built. My only complaint is that it lacked good instructions on how to build it. I'm not a handy person but somehow I figured it out. It's sturdy and looks really nice.
A little tough to put together in the beginning, but worked out great in the end. Looks great when assembled. Some of the pieces were very slightly damaged during shipping, but nothing that will show or effect the stability and use of the product.
The drawers are good quality. They require glue to put together (which I recommend you get your own specifically for wooden surfaces despite glue is included) and they require a drill in order to install the handles. The drawers appeared to be flawed when I first put them in, but I shuffled them around a bit and got them to work.
If you want something that looks good, but will also be able to hold some stuff, this is it. But don't count on it for heavy duty stuff. The wood is a compressed (fake?) wood. So it's not that sturdy. The glue that comes with it is so runny & generic. Better off just buying a tube of Liquid Nails & using that instead. This will also require a DRILL to drill a hole for the handles. You can bang holes into it, but the wood might chip. Overall, for the price you pay, it's a pretty good deal. You get a contemporary look w/o the big price tag. I like it!
I ordered many items from walmart and this one truly disappointed me. Many pieces were broken, the glue was dry, and one of the feet to attach to the bottom of the chest was broken as well. Waiting for new pieces to arrive. Otherwsie, i would not recommend buying this product. Also, if you do not have a drilling hole machine....well, you're out of luck attaching the handles to the drawers.
I purchased this product for my son's bedroom and based onthe picture online, I expected the furniture to be light oak with metal hardware to match his other furniture. After I place the order, I found out the furniture piece was in fact a dark brown color with the metal hardware. I returned the item becasue it was not advertised online in the color that was shipped. I was impressed with the site to store feature, so there was no additional cost for shipping. I was also happy about the price for this product. Although, I returned it based only on appearance and preference, I would recommend this product to other customers. One thing to be aware of: the drawers and rollers are plastic, so that may casue the product to not last as long as someone would prefer. For a child's room, you may want a more sturdy piece of furniture. I like walmart and shop often, I just wish the color was what I expected (light wood) when I ordered it online.
