this feeder is a big one. there are two chambers inside, you could put two types of food in and attract more birds. its easy to fill, the top ring unscrews and then the roof part comes off. pour in the seed and put the top back on and screw on the ring. done. now hang it from that same ring. there are 3 holes for birds to feed from on each side. the catch tray also has tiny holes so water can drip out if it rains. i really love the look of this. and the birds can hand on the sides of the mesh tower. we have a lot of cardinals that feed in my yard, along with small birds. its just such a nice design that is easy to use.
This bird feeder is amazing! It holds 10 lbs. of bird feed with two individual compartments. The birds love it! I have cats, so I had to hang it up high, so they couldn't get the birds. This bird feeder is beautiful and well made. The instructions tell how and when to clean it. I will get to use this feeder for years and years to come!
i just love how big this giant combo screen bird feeder, with 6 feeding ports, that holds 10 lb of bird seed, is great for my yard, i have 2 acres and lots of birds, that i know will enjoy this also, and myself as far as watching the birds eat. it has a metal top that screws off and on the platform, small holes to let water through , so seeds dont get mushy.
The last one I purchased of this exact model, lasted 15 years outside every single day rain or shine until the base started to rust out. Holds a lot of seed which lasts up to a week. Birds are looking forward to another 15 years. Do yourself and your feathered friends a favor and get it.
Just bought this one to replace the one I had previously (identical). The old one lasted about 15 years. Best feeder ever. I may buy another and save it in case I can't find another many years from now.

Love this feeder! It holds so much seed, is very well made, all kinds of birds love it. I have finches, cardinals, blue jays, and more coming to it. My in laws have this one and love it too. I have no issues with squirrels because I bought a special pole to help with that. Highly recommend this!
I like that this bird feeder is sturdy metal, not plastic that fades or breaks. It is a pretty hammered bronze colored metal with metal mesh screen and several holes with metal perches. I love that it has drain holes in the bottom plate, so no rain water can build up. It has a nice metal lid that overhangs the feeder a bit. Plus, there is a metal divider inside so you can easily pour two separate kinds of food for variety. I put what Nijer Thistle seed I had left on one side, but it didn't fill that side, so I then poured Sunflower seed hearts to top off that side. Then, on the other side, I put wild bird food. Then, I put the lid on and screwed on the top sturdy hanging ring. Note: you will need a double hook "S" hook to hang it. Hang from a sturdy eye hook or on a sturdy branch, 10 pounds is a lot of seed and needs support. I like that I won't have to keep filling these feeders and can just sit back and watch the birds. Be patient, it may take the birds a bit to find your feeder. But, once they do, they'll love it.
This bird feeder is much larger than I anticipated. It is heavy duty and very durable in a way that will last through much damage. It can also hold many types and sizes of seeds which in turn attract different kinds of bird. My garden is more chirpy thanks to this product bringing in the birds. I wish it came in more colors because solid black is a bit plain in my opinion. It is not too hard to clean though you do need to brush within the small openings and cracks for thorough cleaning. A big cons about this is its size, too large and it requires a lot of food to fill up high in the feeder. It is also on the heavier side so someone smaller in size like myself has to be very careful handling it. It is a nice touch to the garden, but I would prefer to get another one that is smaller and lighter. I'd recommend this product only if you are okay with having a lot of seed inside to attract the birds.
I would like to return this feeder. The birds wont eat from it. The tray is too small,and beveled,and,they cant hang on. My husband is a disabled veteran,and,it was alot of $ for not being able to observe the birds,feeding.
