This is my favorite plant based meat. I eat it on Pizzas, with grits and in tacos! Air fryer came along and cut down my cooking time and the crispyness is Ahhmazing❣️ I would definitely recommend To the company my only wish is these came in a FAMILY PACK %26 the price come down a bit!
I bought these about two weeks and forgot about them in the freezer. I not sure of they are the new or old recipe but they are so good. I just heat one up for 40 seconds and eat them as a snack. As a syrup lover who doesn't eat pork, it doesn't get better than this.
these sausage patties are not just like pork sausage patties...there better! Great taste %26 not oily. Will never eat another meat sausage patty again.
I received a single free coupon of Morning Star Farms Veggie Breakfast in exchange for my honest review. I choose Veggie Maple Flavored Sausage Patties. Fried all 6 of it and made a simple burger with my homemade dressing. When I opened the packet, I can totally smell the sweet soy flavor and the size of the patties are decent. For soy (flour,protein isolate, sauce) , vegetable oil (corn, canola) ingredients as much as possible we are reducing the use of them in our home because of the health issues and because of the risk that these certain ingredients can give to our body. I respect that other people does have a positive view about these ingredients. All in all, they are of course, edible.
My daughter loves these, but they are too sweet for me. I like the Morning Star sausage links.
The price was an issue for me. I wasn't as vigilant as I should have been, not noticing that there was only 6 patties in the bag.
It's a no from me I found the MorningStar Farms Veggie Maple Flavored Sausage Patties really easy at my local grocery store. And honestly, this was the one that I had wanted to try more so than any other flavor. I love maple flavored anything and that made me giddy to get my hands on these. Like the Original Patties, I made these in the oven - 12 minutes and really easy - and the sweet Maple flavor was all over the place as it heated. My mouth was watering to eat them. But the first bite - while definitely that gorgeous Maple flavor comes through- was not pleasant. The texture and aftertaste was worse than the Original Patty. And unlike the Original, that couldn't be hidden with other foods added with it. It was a huge bummer that I didn't like this flavor.
Morning Star Farms -- What Has Happened to Your Non-Meat-"Sausage" Patties??? The recipe is different, AND it makes them taste terribe!!! There is no Fennel, Sage, Peppery taste - dull as mud!!! We are SO disappointed with this "change," and want to register our disapproval!!!! As vegans for over 27 years, we used your non-meat-sausage patties to flavor our cooked beans or beans %26 rice, or stews. We will HAVE to change brands, as this is not a good substitute!!!!!!!! OR we will make the non-meat-sausage patties ourselves - from scratch!! We are SO disappointed with you/Morning Star Farms!!!!!
I hated the flavor. They're too sweet but I don't even eat the rest of the bag had to throw it away.
'Natural flavor' Hey, it's about flavor, none are listed, no maple flavoring as on the bag. So, flavor is questionable, because, they hide the ingredients that make sausage, sausage. Just one patties ruined an entire meal with it's odd 'flavor'. Why not include the natural flavors, maybe sage, and so on. Nasty flavor, too expensive, get a new chef, and maybe even a CEO who know how to make this a goto product. I'm throwing the rest in the trash. I have no food budget money to replace the loss.
