The batteries are the BT50 kind, which are less powerful than the BT51, but otherwise interchangeable. The charger does not fit my Moto W755 phone so I can't test it. (They made no claim the the charger would fit my older phone.) As far as I know, a charger has to have an IC chip inside it to allow it to charge a Motorola phone. So, i can't say if this charger will work.
