I bought this as a baby shower gift for my niece who is having her first baby. I researched video baby monitors and I read all of the reviews because I wanted to be sure that I was buying a high quality monitor for her. This monitor has so many useful features that it won hands down in my book! One of the best features is the 2 way talk feature! Like most moms these days, she has to go back to work. This monitor has an app that allows her to see, hear and talk to her baby whether she is in the kitchen or away at work via live stream on the app and the connection is totally private and secure. She can calm the baby by using the soothing sounds or 5 preloaded lullabies. She can even create her own personalized recordings. It can even play audiobooks! This device monitors the room temperature so you do not have to worry if baby is too warm or too cold! The camera has infrared night vision so you can see your baby clearly on the monitor. The parent video monitor is 5 inches so you get a big picture which you can also make video recording of which is another bonus feature. A key feature that made me lean toward buying this one is that there is a crib mount so you can have an overhead view of the baby and you can easily detach the camera to use it in other rooms of the house too, not just the baby room! The camera is excellent and can pan and tilt and even zoom in for a close up of the baby! I find baby items these days have a lot of bells and whistles but they are useless and do nothing but make it more expensive. But this video monitor is the exception to that rule! All of the features on this monitor are very useful and provide peace of mind for both mommy and the baby (and daddy too)! I wish this was around when I was raising my 5 children! One more thing, this video monitor will not be obsolete once the baby years are over. Because the camera can be moved from room to room, this is a great tool to use through the toddler years and beyond to keep an eye on the kids playing in another room while you are cooking dinner or any other of the endless duties of parenthood, and even give you peace of mind when you are out with hubby for date night and the kids are with a babysitter, no more worrying if things are going well, pull out your phone and click on the app, and you can see how things are going! This monitor gives you a lot for the money it costs. From the research I did, this is the best video baby monitor for parents today!

Having the option to use the stand and have it directly above a crib or using the table mount gives me options. The clarity of the camera and monitor day and night is excellent. I especially like having the ability to use my phone and view the camera while away. I appreciate the piece of mind knowing I can check in on our baby anytime. You can snap an image or video and save it to your phone.The added features of playing a lullaby or talking to our baby is truly one of my favorite features.

I love that monitor is big and quality of the screen is wonderful, especially nighttime. You can zoom in / out the camera to get better view of a baby/room. I like that it is showing temperature in the baby's room. There's also two way communication when using the screen pad so my voice may sooth my baby . Been using it for a month and love it and highly recommended.

The motion range is great! And so very convienient! My husband can even see what's going on at work! I love this monitor!

This was super easy to set up, I like that I can watch it from my phone when I'm away and have someone baby sitting, or the monitor when I'm home ! I can also use the adjustable monitor mount, and it tells the temp in the room, also it reads bed time story's and plays lullaby's it's the best monitor I have ever own!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this little monitor! Not only does it come with a monitor screen but it can also be connected to your mobile device. It attaches to a pole that can hook to the crib or dresser for easy mounting of the camera. Using the monitor screen, you can move the camera if the baby moves in the bed. It has sound and motion alarms as an option and also tells you the temperature in the baby's room. It's small enough to pack an overnight bag without taking up much space!
We absolutely LOVE this monitor and the fact that we can have it run by the wi-fi in our home and see baby through an app. With that said, the actual long stand did not work (the cord built inside it did not power the camera). So unfortunately we have a cord draped over the side of the bassinett and running to the outlet.
App DOES NOT WORK. It comes with a paper saying oops as soon as you open the box. I tried everything. I contacted my WiFi company as well there is nothing on our end inhibiting it. I love the camera and crib set up, but the app is not useable at all. You can't connect it. At all. Only other complaint is the story feature- it's literally creepy. “Not now Bernard” story is about a child being eaten by a monster. What even? Very disappointed to pay $159 plus tax for it not to work on WiFi at all. Monitor screen is large. Some zoom options, not wide angle though heads up. Max out zoom and in zoom photos included. Temperatures are off by a lot I'd say as well. Not returning for the time being unless I decide to, because I've already returned 1 babysense with a screen that never even turned on (sent defective) and I'm due way too soon to mess with getting another at almost 39 weeks along. Hopefully they fix the app ASAP. Downloaded both apps to clarify, not upgraded app says not compatible and the new one refuses to connect at all.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this baby monitor but there seems to be a huge design flaw with the camera. We had my son's old camera mounted in the corner of the room so placed this one there as well. I installed it in the early afternoon, and the monitor showed his entire crib, but when I went to lay him down for the evening, I only saw half of his crib on the monitor. It seems that the magnetic base isn't strong enough to keep the camera at the angle that we need. It just steadily falls down throughout the day, so you don't see what you want to see on the monitor. The camera also seems to get pretty hot when plugged in, so I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable with the over the crib mount. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. The camera was easy to install, the monitor is nice and large and easy to see, and the app makes it easy to monitor your baby wherever you are!
I will start by saying the camera itself is nice. The app to connect it to your phone is what is awful. It will randomly disconnect and you have to remove it and readd it every other day if not more. Setup instructions are a absolute joke as well. Just go elsewhere when getting a camera. It isn't worth the head ache of trying to keep it setup/get it setup.
