This monitor is amazing!! I brag about it all of the time! The picture is great, the wifi feature is SO handy if he's at the sitters all I have to do is open the app and boom I can see my sweet kiddo. Not to mention you can add as many Motorola WiFi enabled cameras as you like. The night vision is really impressive and switches on automatically. It does have about a 3 to 5 second delay but it is on WiFi you have to keep reasonable expectations. I don't think the delay bothers anyone in my family. Oh and you can talk to your baby or play music for him while you aren't in the room or even the house. Plus it gives you noise and movement alerts incase you arent watching the app like a hawk. If you're going back to work and have separation anxiety, you're using a sitter for the first time, or you're about to have a baby I couldn't give you a better recommendation.
My husband bought this monitor for me when I went back to work from maternity leave. We have another Motorola monitor for both of our kids' rooms but this one is awesome because I can check on the baby with the nanny when I'm at work. Although I didn't set it up my husband said it was relatively easy and the app cost nothing to use. Really impressed this technology exists and would recommend it to any working mom that leaves her baby at home!
She wanted this in her baby registry
It was so simple to set up. The best part is being able to check in on your phone when you're not home. I used this when I was taking care of my elderly grandfather. I could check on him at any time. I could even talk through the camera. The only downside is I couldn't get it to alert me at sound or motion, or to begin recording at either one. Overall it was great.
It worked great until I realized it got hacked!! I took all the precautions to avoid this and yet it happened! This is a no go for me! I would not recommend this to anyone!! Should be more secured!
Do not waste your time with this monitor. It is absolute garbage. It is extremely difficult to set up and get the camera to pair with the monitor, also, the camera quality is awful! I only bought this in an emergency when my Summer Infant stopped charging (for the third time). This monitor is definitely going back to the store.
I absolutely hate this monitor. The camera is constantly losing it's picture. In the middle of the night it starts beeping that the camera isn't working and when you look at the monitor it's working fine. I am going back to the old style no camera.
The picture quality on the camera is absolutely horrible. It also lags, and cuts out constantly. I don't feel safe leaving my baby in his room by himself because it cuts out so much. The Hubble app for your phone is a joke, it never works. I have very high speed wifi and it works very well with everything, so I know it has nothing to do with it. Just an overall horrible product. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I will be taking this back.
I hate this monitor. We did research before buying and felt like it was the right fit for us. Being able to see baby when you arnt home? Amazing! Problem is most times I can't even make it work on the next room and never once has it worked outside my home. The ap is terrible. It loads forever but never connects. Half the time the monitor screen it comes with won't even work! The nigh vision is so bright and the blinking the camera does while trying to load wakes up my baby! I wish this monitor worked. I had high hopes. I just hate it though.
It's very laggy. The app just loads and loads and loads. The speaker isn't very loud, so my kids can't hear my voice. The night vision isn't that great.. the screen is constantly tweaking out. It alerts me constantly about "sounds" in the room. Both kids are asleep, but the app keeps waking me up. It's not a very good monitor, I don't trust it at all. I'll be returning it tomorrow. Too bad...
