I bought this charger for a flashlight. During a recent power outage, we certainly needed the flashlight. Once it depleted the battery, we took it to the home of a friend who was on a generator. The flashlight charged just fine off the generator's power. After the power outage, I charged it once more on regular current and the flashlight is working perfectly. For those shopping for chargers, be sure to match the volts and amperage of the item you are using it for. In this case my flashlight required an input of 12V and 750mA, which is what this charger does. Also be sure to match the polarity of the charger to the item being charged; in this case it was center-positive.
Article picture does not match, nor the specifications. Is great mistake. It must appear the charger, not the cellphone
