I purchased this phone because I was really annoyed with my old phone. When I read other reviews on the product I was a little concerned about the amount of memory that came with it because so many people said it just wasn't enough, however I found that it has plenty of memory for my needs. I guess if you were someone who uses your phone for everything you may want to go for the one with more memory but generally there seems to be enough. The phone is super fast and has a very crisp picture. Also, the back camera is pretty good compared to a lot of the other phones you can find for 100 dollars. The front camera is OK, but it is not something that is super detailed or anything like that. One thing I was a little surprised to find was that you seem to need an internet connection to update the phone to 4.4 kit Kat, I thought it would just use the phones 3g but I guess that's not such a big deal. Also, the prepaid version of the phone does come with the charging block while the other version only has the USB cable which I thought was really handy because I mostly charge my phone from an outlet.
This is my first touch screen phone and first prepaid no contract phone. I ordered the phone online from Wal-Mart.com for $99.00 and bought a two year warranty contract for it for $12 and a $50 minute card. So far I am more than pleased with my Verizon Moto G. It has so many features which I love and many more that I have not yet tried out or used. I took the phone to Verizon and they transferred my old phone number and all my contacts over from my old Verizon flip phone to my new Moto G. I also found out there are more than just the 3 prepaid card plans which is sold at Wal-Mart, you can also refill your minutes right from the phone. The Moto G lets you keep track of your minutes usage, etc. I was looking at a Straight Talk phone until I read the reviews on the Moto G and compared those reviews with the Moto G reviews, I am glad now that I went with the Moto G. Overall I am very pleased with my new Moto G, it is all I expected and much more. I would highly recommend the Verizon Moto G no contract phone. I also found and bought a protective cover with stand for my Moto G online at Wal-Mart.com for $7.95. (Verizon sells the protective covers for $29.99)
Have had phone for 2 weeks now and no problems. Speaker and ringtones are very loud. Which I need. Like those a lot. Alarm has been good so far. Reception of signal compared to other phones I have used in my area seems to be quite better. Connection to web even at 3G speeds is satisfying. Check out the review on Youtube where they put it under water for 30 minutes and make a call and the phone never quits working! Not guaranteed but I was impressed. Meaning if you are caught out in rain you dont have to worry about ruining it like most others. Of course I dropped it right away and not a mark on it. (Concrete) Butterfingers as we all are at times. Overall I am pleased with this phone. Love the preloaded turn by turn spoken navigation!
Bought one for every one in my home (four).....we've had them for about six months....no glitches,no nonsense,no problems....the best smartphones available for the price range,and will actually compare to much more expensive units.....very satisfied and no regrets purchasing these
Its a great phone for the price and functionality it offers. Very satisfied with it so far. Does not freeze. Very nice battery life. I did take out some things that came preloaded. Call me old fashioned but I try to treat my phone for its intended purpose (Phone that is). I do not do Youtube, skype etc. I used the online feature to port my phone number. Was done in four hours or less Great product!! Screen looks great!!
This phone has to be one of the best buys in phones that there is, along with the plan for 45 dollars a month what more can you ask for. This is a great buy in my book, I would recommend this phone to anyone wanting a phone. You cannot beat the price.
This is my first smart phone so I don't know much about the operation. What I really like is if you have a question on how to do something all you need to do is google your question and you will find an answer on how to operate the functions of your phone very easily. So far I love the phone! Especially for texting. So much easier with the touch screen! And faster.
I was surprised to see the price of this phone was right under one hundred dollars. Especially after reading about all the features that come on this phone. Also I Was glad to see that it has a camera w/ a flash, and a front facing camera! The processor on this phone is very fast and doesn't bog down even after downloading all the apps. By far, THE BEST, prepaid phone I have ever had.
This phone was recommend by a Verizon employee. I looked on line and read the reviews. I ordered the phone from Wal-Mart at a good price. Received the phone before it was due to arrive. I love the phone. It does everything I wanted and more in a phone.
I was a little reluctant to order this phone since I wasn't sure if the screen size would be sufficient for my eyes. I was not disappointed! Prior to upgrading to the Kitkat 4.4, the phone was smooth, scrolling through the various apps, opening and closing said apps, everything was nice. After the upgrade to Kitkat 4.4.... it's even better and faster (to me, anyway). What I especially liked was the Motorola Migrate to upload some data from my old phone. One word of caution should you use Migrate... be sure both phones have the same, current version of Migrate before starting the process, otherwise you may run into difficulty transferring the files. It's a good thing I checked mine because it still had the older version installed, so had to upgrade the app via Google Play. The current version, 1.3.0.10, does give you the option to decide what files you'd want to transfer onto the Moto G, and that is good! As far as making and receiving calls, text messages... I truly love the performance of this phone. The audio output is nice, especially on speaker phone mode. Voice audio is nice as well, as friends whom I spoke with, said they heard me with no problem (a big plus, indeed). Picture wise is okay for a phone camera, it's good enough to capture instant moments when my regular camera isn't available. For the price of this phone and the great service attached to it... it's a beautiful 'marriage' indeed. So why did I only give it a 4-star rating? If this product allowed me to install a micro SD card for storage, that would've made it super sweet!
