[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have tried several different combinations of nursery cams from different manufacturers. This is hands down one of the best. From initial setup to operation, we were very impressed. We have three kids (three, one, and newborn), and we are using these two cams for the newborn and one year old. From the box, it comes with 2 cams that look like small robots (making them fun and cute to add to any nursery). Upon plug in, they start looking for the master unit. Our first one found it easily, but the second needed to be unplugged and moved closer. Once attached, we haven't had issues with either cam. The menu for the master unit is easy to navigate, and similar to others. The downloadable app works better on android then apple, but we were able to make it work on our iPhone and iPad. On the iPad, the app comes up small, so it takes getting used to. The app needs some work though, as our IBaby app is far beyond the Motorola app in terms of ease of use and moving the camera remotely. Overall, I highly recommend this unit. They work seamlessly (generated a QR code to connect to the internet within the app, and then seamlessly connected to the app). These are a great addition to any nursery, and we will definitely be using this in place of our iBaby for the foreseeable future.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very user friendly and a breeze to set up. I was easily able to get everything connected to Wi-Fi and my phone. Both audio and video quality are excellent. Having the split screen option is very handy when having two cameras. The monitor is a decent size and not too bulky to carry around. I love that you are able to speak to baby. Pan, tilt, lullabies, books, and temperature monitoring are added bonuses. My only complaint would be the slight lagging and blurry night vision. Gifted by Motorola
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were gifted this system and set it up to watch our little in her play areas while we are cooking dinner, etc. in the other room. Love that it comes with two cameras and the monitor has the split screen function. The app is nice so you can in theory watch baby/baby with sitter etc. from anywhere on your phone too! The setup was very simple too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay so to start off, I have four children, ages 11 months, 3 years, 6 years and 9 years old. That being said, I've had a bunch of different baby monitors in the past (ie/ hello baby, safety first, YI, etc). First off, I love how it comes with two different cameras. As a parent of multiple children, this is extremely helpful that you don't have to buy multiple cameras. It also is nice to just be able to have another camera for another location (ie/ playroom). The camera quality is fantastic and it is so nice to be able to sync to your cell phone. However, I think my favorite thing about this is that there is ALSO a handset so you don't have to use your cell phone as the monitor! That is something that I have had a hard time finding where I could be on my phone (or another child can) and I can still have an old school monitor to watch the baby! I also love how you can play lullabies on this so you don't need to have an extra sound machine in the child/babies room. The recording option has also been fantastic for recording cute memories:-). All in al, would definitely recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this monitor for free to do my honest review. It's honestly a great monitor when it comes to connecting the cameras to the main monitor. The image is clear as day. I can take it off the charger and carry it with me throughout the house. However, when it comes to the added "bonuses" it gets really complicated. The app on the phone is glitchy and the cameras disconnects often. It will also freeze and take a while for it to come back up. I would completely recommend this for a friend, but I would suggest they stay away from trying to connect to the app. It doesn't make me feel as safe as just having the monitor. If they could fix that it would be great. The notifications is awesome because even if it's freezing I can go check on him. It comes programmed with songs and stories that will play over the cameras.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Motorola for the free product! I love this thing. First of all, I thought it would only work while you're inside the house with wifi but you can watch from anywhere. My favorite feature is how easy it is to connect to your phone. You can pair more than one phone, just download the app and it will guide you step by step. The night vision is super helpful when my little one wakes up at night. You can control if you want to be notified by motion or sounds or both! I have to mention that one of the coolest features is that it plays lullabies and story books. There's a timer for the songs and the books so you don't have to worry about turning it off. It comes with 2 cameras which is great , I was able to put one in the living room and in his bedroom. You can move and control the cameras from your phone, or the home monitor AND you can talk through it. You're also able to take screenshots or record videos but you have to go on the app to click on the camera button to do so. I wish it was recording the whole time so I could go back and watch the video when accidents happen. Besides that, I love it and I will definitely be buying one more for my friend. Give it a try! its great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I loved this camera. I like that the monitor is larger so that when I'm sleeping and wake up to view both children they are easy to see. It's nice to be able to view all around the room and the quality of the image is great. The reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is the camera is constantly disconnecting from the monitor however can view from my phone. It makes an extremely loud beeping noise when it doesn't connect which wakes up my newborn next to me and honestly is just annoying.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with this camera! My favorite feature is that I can connect without wifi. My husband is paranoid of hackers, so this gives us added piece of mind. I live in a pretty big house and have no problem with connection. I use this more for my toddler son than for my baby girl. She sleeps so close to me while my toddler sleeps on the opposite side of the house. He enjoys the two way communication and the lullabies. The picture is clear at night, and even better during the day. I would love to give 5 stars, but there's just some things that I would change. All the features are kind of confusing. I don't know if my second camera isn't working or if I didn't set it up right, because I can't figure out how to change camera views/ or use the split viewing. Also, I wish the light that shines in the left, upper, corner wasn't so bright. It's very bright next to my bed, which makes me wake up a couple times during the night. Bottom line, I would definitely recommend this camera though. Once I figure out all the features I know I will enjoy it even more.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Motorola recently sent me the Motorola PIP1610-2 HD CONNECT to try out and have been using it for a while. In comparison to other similar products I've tried, it holds its own quite well. The picture quality is decent, but not the best I've seen in this category. One of the benefits of owning this product is its ease of setup and use. The user interface is intuitive, making it accessible for those who might not be tech-savvy. The wireless connectivity is also a plus, allowing for flexibility in placement. I'm reasonably satisfied with this product, and I might consider buying it again. While there are other options in the market with slightly better picture quality, the overall user experience and affordability make this a compelling choice. I would definitely recommend the Motorola PIP1610-2 HD CONNECT to friends or family who are looking for a budget-friendly streaming device with decent performance and user-friendly features. It's a good choice for casual users, and the minor picture quality trade-off is well worth the cost savings.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Motorola for this free baby monitor! I really like how it comes with the monitor but you can also set the app on your phone. We cosleep and contact nap but now that he's getting older we want to transition to his crib for naps. I really liked the whole set up, great quality, great features but once he started crying it didn't notify me which stressed me out, though I was in the room right next to him and could hear him through the walls. I will continue to use it because it is perfect for what I need at the moment and maybe the settings weren't correct because everything else about it is great!!
