I got these in case of emergency. Very good battery life and 22 channels. Also very helpful for off road situations very easy to communicate with each other. Can hear each other very well very good quality very durable.
These Two-Way Radio's are super cool. They are by Motorola which is a top brand and give good reception. We love them and could not ask for anything better on the brand, look or reception.
Living in florida means hurricane season every year and my family always wants to be as prepared as possible. This year we added the Motorola two way radios for extra security and communication in case we have no power or cell phone tower usage. These two way radios are much more advanced than a basic walkie talkie. They have tons of features and were super easy to use and figure out. They can go up to 1 mile through a neighborhood which is amazing. They also charge via usb so super easy to keep power. I highly recommend these for anyone who lives somewhere with major storms.
I love these walkies. The quality is great. I love the rechargeable batteries and the charger with the split end. You can charge both walkies at the same time. You can also program channels into the walkies, which is nice. Having these have made it easier to keep an ear on my children. They love talking to me and each other on these, keeps them quite occupied. I also love that you can use these with other walkies that are the same brand. Also love that you can have weather updates on these. Great purchase and will be getting more!
My husband and son use these when they go hunting and fishing because there's spotty to no cel reception but they haven't had a lot of trouble using these. You can use regular batteries or rechargeable. They even have personalized stickers in the box.
This is an item I never knew I needed. They are small enough to fit in your pocket so we take them with us when we go out. My son is always dropping his phone so I don't like him taking it with him when we are together but these are perfect. They are well made and he has already dropped one and it held up fine. We use them when we are at the park to contact each other, we use them at stores and at home. I really love them. When he takes the dog out for a walk we talk and he is usually several blocks away. Some times we get some interference but nothing to bad. Like I said it was something I never thought I needed but love them and they really come in handy.
My husband and I tested these out to make sure it has the 20mile range like it says. It comes very close to it and so it does work. We use it when our son is across the street with the neighbor kid and it works great. He can't say he doesn't hear his phone ring when the walkie talkie is louder ha. Very sturdy hard materia. Comes with 2 batteries and a charger that has 2 attachments in one. Comes with the clip to attach to your belt or pants. Very loud volume and like I state the range is great. Very satisfied with this product and we are using it to the max. Highly recommend for outings as well such as trailing and so on. We use it every day around the house if I'm inside with baby and husband is in the yard or if my son is across the street or goes to the store as well. Can't wait to use it on our summer outings soon.
I have just taken delivery of this Motorola Two-Way Radio and so have not yet had a chance to test its distance receiving capabilities. It was fairly simple to set up, though the instruction booklet included is one of these requiring some visual aid between a standard magnifying glass and an electron microscope. But with that challenge overcome, it was up and running after installing and fully charging the battery in each unit (included) quickly. Reception over the 100 yard distance so far tested is reasonably clear. Greater distance testing to come.
The Motorola Solutions T210 Two-Way Radio Is okay for work or bike rides with the family. I like the rechargeable battery's and the belt clips. It's easy to use with scan channels mode and pager mode. It has a easy to read lcd screen. What I don't like is it say it could reach up to 20 miles apart, but we couldn't get it to reach even one mile apart. Overall it's a okay radio.
I really wanted this to work, but so far no luck. I got this because my daughter bought a camper and is living there temporarily. It's only 8 miles away, but there is no cell service out there. I thought this radio would help me keep in contact with her. It said on the box up to 20 miles. .. She got 1 mile away and I lost her. We kept trying by using different channels and different locations, but no luck. On the other hand, the grandkids love this just to run around the house and talk to each other (they're only 4) lol. Guess I'll need to delve further into the instructions to see if I'm missing something, I will update of I figure out what I'm doing wrong.
