very clear, easy to use, work great
I couldn't be happier with these two-way radios. I knew I could count on a brand like Motorola to deliver a quality product. I'm thrilled with the range on these radios, and they're solidly made but not too heavy when clipped to your waist. I've owned and have used quite a few different two-way radios over the years, and I have to note that the radio sound quality is the best that I've used. I am looking forward to many hikes and many days of skiing using these to communicate with my friend when cell phones will fail due to extreme temperatures or too much moisture. These are exactly what you want in the woods, and with a range of over 30 miles plus the ability to access to NOAA's station's frequency, you can feel safe while venturing out knowing that you'll have contact or important weather transmissions available.
These powerful two-way radios by Motorola are incredible for all outdoor activities. They are weatherproof and have a built-in flashlight which is extremely convenient. It features up to a 35 mile range and 6 miles on open water. This pack also includes 2 hands free microphones so they can be used while skiing, biking, hiking, etc. These radios also feature weather channels and alerts which are extremely easy to set up. I especially love these reliable radios when camping with the kids. These two-way radios by Motorola are incredible quality for the price. I highly recommend these radios for all outdoor activities.
While we haven't taken these into the woods to test out yet, the radios appear to be very well made and like they'll withstand whatever you toss their way. They are packed with awesome features that would be beneficial while camping, hiking, hunting, etc. What we have experimented with so far has shown nice clear voice communication and super easy to use. I'm sure we'll have lots of good memories with these walkies.
Wow these walkie talkies are so much cooler than the ones I grew up with. 35 mile range!! I ñove that it has the NOAA emergency channels and alerts. It's weatherproof and has a flash light. Where has this been my whole life!! I am in love with these walkie talkies. I just can't figure out where they want me to attach the neck strap for the life of me. I love that it comes with all the accessories including the men in black style earpiece with mic which is hand and just fun who doesn't like feeling like a secret agent. There are so many features that I get overwhelmed reading about them all and need to take breaks to just go play with them. Where we live the 35 mile range covers most areas we go. These are perfect for hiking because I can leave one home with my husband so when me and my bestia hike areas with poor reception we can still touch base. Cell reception is so hit or miss in the Forest these are a lifesaver. It includes a rechargeable battery but can also take AAs in a pinch. The vibrate alert feature is super handy too. They come in a nice case that lets me keep everything together so they don't get lost in my drawer of doom.
We choose these for camping trips in our RV. They include headsets so my husband can wear his while we husband can use his hands free while backing the rig and I can guide him with mine. We marked them with the included stickers so we know whose is whose. We are also camping with our adult kids and grandchildren, so I have already been practicing with our 7 year old grandson. We are excited about getting off the grid (no cell service) but still being able to communicate with each other as we split into teams for hikes. These are literally easy enough that he has already mastered using them. I also love the charger, it allows me to charge both units at the same time with just one plug, one outlet. Since everything needs a charger these days. They come in a compact travel bag so no bulky storage necessary. Perfect for stowing in the RV's cab and not wasting valuable space. If you love the outdoors like our family then check this system out!
These are the best two way radios I've owned. There are so many extras that come with us. For example the earpiece and headset and clips to carry on your belt or pants. It has weather mode and a built in LED flashlight. It comes with two rechargeable batteries and also stickers for the radios. These are very tough and durable.
These radios are the best and we have used yet! They are extremely clear!. We used them about a 1/4 of a mile away. Haven't tried to max them out yet, but we will never need 35 miles.s
I chose this item because we can use them for when we go camping and I can also use them at work. We will be taking them on a test run soon so I'll update my review once we can experience it's ease, usefulness, etc of the product
