This was a purchase for a friend who was constantly rummaging through her purse to answer or make a call. She loves it so much. Just a push of a button to make or receive a call and takes her eyes off the road.
This is the third in-car blue-tooth product I have had the pleasure of setting up from ground zero. And it has been the easiest. Took only 5 min. even with voice command set up on the phone. Used it while moving from Maryland to Florida and had very little trouble communicating with the other cars during the move.
No problem hearing the speaker over other noise in the car. Really convenient not having to fumble with the phone making and receiving calls. I use iPhone and Siri, don't know how it works with android.
I tried two others and returned them before settling on this unit. I had Motorola before and should have stuck with what's always worked. This unit is loud enough to be used in my truck. Voices are clear (other units were muffled.) Noise cancellation works great as nobody can tell I'm calling from my vehicle. I do not turn the unit off and after 4 weeks the battery level is still high. (which the unit conveniently announces upon reconnect to my phone) Exceedingly happy with this unit.
The unit works great. u have to charge as often as u would a cell phone. We purchased 2 units and both are used daily.
I am very pleased with the SonicRider. I replaced my previous bluetooth speaker with this one, and I am glad I did. Much more responsive to voice commands and plenty of volume. It works well playing music from my phone as well. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a bluetooth speaker at a reasonable price.
It is easy to set up and use. Picks up voice well, sometimes volume is difficult to hear. Long battery life before recharge. Overall excellent
Was expecting better performance from this car speakerphone since it's a Motorola. Pros: Voice clarity on both ends pretty loud and clear Cons: Device does not stay connected to my cell phone. Appears to lose connectivity after only 30 mins even if I haven't left the car. Must turn speakerphone on and off manually when re-entering car to connect (pair) my cellphone despite not turning speakerphone off upon leaving car. Doesn't call @times when I use voice activated dialing. Even though I purchased the speakerphone at half price, I'm still debating whether or not to return it. Overall, not recommended. Spend a little more and get one that works like it should.
I try not to give negative reviews, but I own a Jabra Tour and I bought it when they were only $39. When they shot up in price to $79, I decided to look for something less expensive so I tried the Motorola SonicRider. I gave it three stars because it does have some positives in its simplicity and ease of pairing. But the sound quality is lacking. I had to turn it up to max volume when driving and it was still too low to really carry on a decent conversation without saying "What?" a number of times. Plus the sound is very muffled. Spend the extra dough and get a Jabra Tour. The sound quality is far superior, crystal clear and loud enough to take care of road noise. You can get them online for $50-$55 now.
i am very happy with this . I ordered another one for my husband, who does a lot of business from his car while driving. This is the answer for him. I am very happy with the ease of use and the clarification of the calls. I highly recommend this for all who talk on phone while driving
