I would buy this and recommend this be bought for safe driving. It definitely keeps your hands available for driving.
After using a Blue-Ant visor speaker for my cell phone and being frustrated because listeners always say they hear an annoying echo from my device on their end, I decided to try this Motorola product that "claimed" to have some "anti-echo" feature. Feedback from friends now confirms that this Morotola is indeed the product to buy! They tell me they hear zero echo from my phone's signal and they can hear my voice clearly with no competing road noises from my car. Further, I can hear them well-enough too with the nice range of volume control on the device. I love the features of "auto-sleep mode" after a certain amount of inactive time, to save on its power charge level. I also like that it recognizes when my phone is back within range of it by "speaking" with voice that it is again communicating with my phone when I enter my car. One negative is that it only came with a car charger plug but not one you can use to charge the unit from an electrical outlet like from in your home. That would be a nice addition because the charge takes a while and I don't like driving around with the unit plugged into my car to charge it up, especially when I am making just short trips around town...it never gets enough time to fully charge in a single driving trip so I have to keep it plugged in during various trips just to get it back to a full charge. It would be much easier if I could take the unit into my house and let it sit and charge overnight or whatever and be done with it! I suppose I could go to Radio Shack or somewhere to find some after-market accessory to charge this in my home, but that is an extra expense and might even possibly damage the unit if the charger is not really meant for the device. Anyway, I love this unit. It works WAY better than my Blue Ant unit ever did! I would definitely buy it again if given the choice!
