Stove Top: Preheat 3 T of oil or margarine in skillet. Add 4 C potatoes and cook on medium-high heat until brown on bottom, then turn. Do not stir or cover. (Approx. 10 minutes.) Fat Free Method: In microwave safe container combine 4 C potatoes and 1 T water. Microwave on full power approximately 7 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, or lemon pepper seasoning. Ice crystals on frozen foods can cause spattering when added to hot oil. Add product carefully. When frying with oil, always preheat oil uncovered. If oil spatters, cover immediately and reduce heat.
