shipping got it early. it works nothing wrong with the MSI MPG X570 thanks would buy from them again
Great motherboard at a great price! I wanted to get a PCIE gen 4 compatible board, and this board is less expensive than most b550 motherboards with WIFI, so I decided to go for it. It was supposed to take two seeks to ship, but it showed up in just four days. The chipset and fan seem to be pretty good, and the other fans in my system completely drown out the chipset fan's noise. The one problem I did have was that the top m.2 slot does not support sata m.2 drives, so I simply had to move the drive to the bottom slot. The metal heatsink over the IO and VREFs looks absolutely stunning, although it does not have RGB. I didn't expect it to, but some of the pictures on other reviews made it look like that heatsink did. The RGB on the back of the board looks really neat, especially at night. Also, this board is ATX, not micro ATX, so it may be too big for some smaller mid-tower cases.
Great motherboard, with high performance components.
built latest build on this motherboard it is very nice
Bought pre covid. There are much better nmve options especially pcie4. the stock m2 fan cooler is a joke. I use an ineo 20mm deal that's super tall. it's able to fit below the gpu but it's tight above. that's with a 5700xt mech OC 8gb msi dual fan. the m2 track actually just came off so I bought an Asus tuf wifi with dual m2 pcie x4 slots. I use two wd black 512's and I have another x16 adapter with two m2 a b key b key slot (I don't have a b key so it's empty. but this boards second x16 is actually only a x4. so an adapter for pcie x4 nmve would work. the x1 slots including directly below the top x16 can fit an adapter for an m2 which gets great cooking while the gpu fans are going.. it's WiFi chip isn't WiFi 6 or 6e but you can buy a 6e Intel chip and install it below the gpu and it's insanely fast. the front 3.2 connections required a special cable to attach to the case and I never bought one. it has 3.0 cake however and so most buttons worked. not usbc or reset. I'd pick something more up to date especially for what they are still charging.
