I got these boxing gloves about a month and a half ago and they are very very good for the price that they are. I would imagine paying a lot more in other places for these gloves...I wouldnt choose any other ones for the price..very well worth buying for the beginner to experienced level boxer.

I use these gloves for hitting the heavy bag and the reflex bag and they work great for the purpose. My hands are on the small side so these are a little big but I can use these no problem. Pleased with my purchase.

These gloves were amazing right out of the box. They were a little bit snug at first, but after using them on a heavybag for awhile, they fit perfect. These gloves aren't for professionals, but for the price and what I wanted to use them for.... they are amazing.

good value for money but the gloves were bit too large and not very secure. free carrying case was good. my hands are small so they did not have a proper fit on me and had to return them.

The gloves are OK. They are the same as any pair of plastics gloves. I ordered large and the size seems to run small at the beginning, but I've noticed that they have started to strech and fit fine now. The visual (color and design) look is much better than the typical red gloves.

I really liked how these looked on walmart.com when i got them in i thought i got sent the wrong one because i was looking for the foam looking inlay under the mitt. They don't carry those any longer apparently there is a new style to them where its all one color and there are tiny holes for breathability. Alas they still feel pretty good and have lots of cushion and a thumlock. They just don't look the same. Go to everlast.com to view updated pictures of products.

Nice gloves but a little small

I was looking for a new pair of gloves for my heavy bag workout and these caught my eye. As an Ali fan in my youth, I figured these would give me a little extra motivation when doing my workout. I read reviews on some boxing forums that stated Everlast gloves tend to run small; being a guy with large hands I was nervous about ordering these without being able to try them on. But as I stated in another review, the good thing about ordering from Wal Mart online (aside from the price) is that if you don't like something you can return it to a local store. I received the gloves and the first thing I noticed was the construction. They seem to be built well...better than I expected for the price. I like the classic old school look to them. In trying them on, I was concerned as they did indeed feel tight. However, after a few minutes of flexing and opening my fist inside the glove, they actually fit well...like a glove! The only problem for me is that, because I have big hands and arms, completely closing the velcro wrap results in a little cramping. So I close the wrap about halfway (still enough to offer protection for my wrist) and it feels fine. I've used them for a few rounds on the heavy bag and they feel good. Nice balance of cushioning, weight and speed. I expected the 12 oz weight to be too light, but they feel heavy enough to provide a good workout while not wearing your shoulders out. I've really layed into the bag with these, and I don't have any concerns about durability. I would recommend these gloves. If you have large hands though, they will take a little breaking in to feel good. If you have smaller hands, I think this is a 5 star glove and you can't go wrong for the price.
