I love these water bottles. They are wonderful. Large enough to fill 1/3 water and freeze, then fill with water and it stays cold longer. They are really colorful, my kids fight over the black skull bottle, go figure. These are an excelent quality and price, you can't go wrong with these.....
I was very surprised at the little freezer pop on the inside of the bottles- this was great to keep stuff cooler longer-just pop the lid with the built in cooler stick into the freezer and when you put it into your bottle it keeps the stuff really cool. The shipping before Christmas never made it and no refund for the extra charges but they are a great bottle can't wait until spring and summer to really try them out
These water bottles are great - I also got the green earth type set, and this set, unlike the other set, has black rubber grips and little gel things inside that you can freeze to keep your water cold. My kids love the design, and they are the perfect size for school and taking in the car.
I found one in the store separated from the set of 4 and scanned the price. It was only $4 so I decided to buy it. What a great idea! I can fit ice cubes from my ice cube tray (as long as they aren't filled to the top) and it stays cool for a very long time. I do agree that the lid is a little odd. You can't drink out of it normally in my opinion, so I just hold it over my mouth to get water. The lid does bump your nose, too, but for the price it's worth it. I clip it on my jeans when I go for a bike ride and it stays set pretty well. I got the skull one and the skull has a nice shimmer to the silver which keeps me entertained, lol. Great little bottle, no metallic taste at all and the water is fresh every time! Definitely will buy more if I can find them. :]
These are really nice water bottles, attractive designs,the price is great (especially considering the msr is $7.49 individually). They keep the water cold for quite a while. They are 20 oz capacity. The "tpr band" (the black rubber around the top groove) is also removable. There is no funky aftertaste to the water, it just tastes clean. I had no problem with the lid hitting my nose like the other reviewer. I am very pleased overall.
For the most part, these are great water bottles! The only thing I don't like about them is it's hard to sip the water out because there's no air hole. However, that being said, you can just lift and let the water flow into your mouth. They're definitely eco friendly, which is why I bought them - to use over and over again. Cool designs also!
I was a bit skeptical about these having heard horror stories about cheap metal bottles, and having read some of the reviews of this product, I was also worried about the lids. Turns out these FAR exceeded my expectations. They are generously sized, perfectly shaped, and the lid is really not that bad at all-- it seems very smartly designed to me. the spout is a bit of nuissance if you are the type of person who likes to put your entire mouth on the spout, but honestly, if you just tip it into your mouth you get tons of water out. Haven't had any problem with rust etc, and am very impressed and thankful I was able to get these at such a low price!
I read a lot of the reviews before buying these. I agree with several people who said the opening is a little small--sometimes it gets stuck on your mouth. Once you know that though, you can just pour it into your mouth instead of drinking directly from it. Overall, these were a great deal though. Cool look, handy way to hold them, and built-in ice pack.
I love these bottles the patterns are fun and I prefer the aluminum to plastic. They stay cool and have no aftertaste. The lid for these is the worst part of the bottle. It is supposed to be a chug lid but the cap doesn't open far enough to get your mouth on the opening. I bought some of the earth day aluminum bottles in the store and switched the lids so that I can have the straw which I would much rather have. The lids switch over perfectly.
I bought this set shortly after purchasing the Earth Day bottle that they sell in stores. I wanted the same bottle with different designs since that bottle was so perfect. This is similar in bottle design, but the lids on these are horrible. They call it the “chugger lid,” but you can't chug, only sip. There is no pressure release hole so only a tiny bit of water escapes. The lid doesn't fold back far enough so your nose is smashed when you drink. And the little clip on the lid is horrible and flimsy. It was dropped and dented on the first day because we tried to clip them to a bag. Needless to say I love the bottle, hate the lid. I am currently searching for a new lid that will fit. These are a great value, all other aluminum bottles I have found on the market were way more expensive. The aluminum leaves no taste in the water and it keeps cold, with the added benefit that the outside gets cold too which helps cool you down during activities.
