I bought this for my granddaughter and my daughter loves it as it helps her with feeding amounts for her 1 year old.
I use this set for my 8 month old son and I love it! The other plates made for infants only have 2 or 3 divided sections, this plate has 5. I like to make sure my baby gets a variety of foods at each meal, especially since he has started meats and yogurt. It is also easy to keep track of how much he is eating rather than feeding from the containers.
My only complaint is the placemat. It doesn't stay in place like it's supposed to. I did not buy this bundle with the plates and spoons, but I did buy the spoons and placemat separately. I ended up returning the placemat. My son could easily sweep it off the table, and the adhesive strip backing is a joke. I've seen the plates in store and they look durable. I like the divisions on them. I have the spoons and love them. It's a little deep for babies just beginning to eat solids. My son is now almost 2 and still enjoys using them. I can't use the Gerber soft tip spoons with him anymore because those are so shallow. But these are easy for him to use, they're a soft plastic so as not to hurt his mouth like metal spoons can and they "grow" with him. Perfect in the dishwasher, too.
While the picture and description clearly show that this set comes with TWO plates, only one plate was delivered with my order. Check your order when you receive it, and notify Walmart if the order is wrong.
