Easy set up and works perfectly
We had one previously and so we ordered another. It has a sleek look, is easy to open and very safe.
Works great as long as you have a good stud
Gate is exactly as it appears online. Looks great with my decor. It's thin and not bulky like other gates but still feels very secure.
I installed this gate outside, to block off the stairs of my deck. The reat of the railings on the deck are black spindles, and this fits in great. The gate swings in either direction, and is definitely child lock safe... even a bit difficult fir me to open. When you pull it closed, it automatically locks in. You just have to be sure the bottom knob is pulled into the bracket, it doesnt always catch, but still easy. It nay just be an adjustment to the knob i have to make. No rust so far using outside, but it just clips right out of the mounting brackets easily, so i could spray paint it and clip back i to place in bo time if needed. Good sturdy gate, even when fully extended. Would definitely recommend. The other gates out there are way more expensive, so this is a nice option.
The gate does a perfect job
The gate works for us at the top of the stairs to keep our dog upstairs. I took off a star for two reasons: the assembly instructions weren't clear and the catch to open/close isn't smooth to use. It does the job, but can be finicky.
Girls are very reckless with this gate. They already broke the bottom hinges onn the lower right. Now what?
The plastic pieces connected to the wall keep breaking and you can't buy them individually.
It's overcomplicated and not made particularly well. It's quite difficult to get it set up, With many pieces that are unnecessarily complicated just by being in so many small pieces that have to be put together in a certain way before you can even attach it to a wall. If you are on a budget I recommend skipping this model and trying something different, It may be cheap but it is absolutely not worth it. Plastic pieces are made out of plastic so cheap that I worried it would fracture or break simply by putting it together
