This product met my expectation when it comes to performance and noise level. Easy to start and light when handling the blower around the yard. Great price too!
Well, this model is the same as ones marketed by Sears and Poulan (exactly) and is at least fifty dollars less. I had the Sears version but after several years it needs to be replaced so I shopped around and found the Murray at Walmart and purchased it. Free shipping and came in about 10 days. Works great and starts easy even when hot. Find the vacuum attachment very useful and think for the price this is a great unit for the obsessed homeowner... Now go buy one...
pick up was good alone with ease of start all in all this was a good price for this blower/vac
My old sears leaf blower finally died on me so I bought this Murray. It arrived in just a few days from ordering it and was easy to assemble for use. It included a bottle of 2-stroke oil which I mixed in a separate 1 gallon container just for 2-stroke. If there is a negative this leaf blower uses a 50:1 instead of the more common 40:1 which is used in most weed eaters so you may want to buy another container to keep your ratios separate. In fairness most 2 strokes will be going to 50:1 to reduce emissions so you may not have a choice much longer. My wife used it after we mowed and weed trimmed and it cleared the debris off the sidewalk and driveway really quick. It also comes with a vacuum bag attachment which I normally don't use. I just followed the starting instructions on the unit and it started on the third pull. After she stopping it to rest it started right back up with only one pull. The pull start has a spring assist which works as advertised. I did notice much less effort was involved in pulling the rope starter. The starter rope is thinner than normal but the material looks strong and with the spring assist you don't have to pull it so hard so it should be fine. As far as noise goes it was about as loud as our old model so you must wear hearing protection. I don't know how long it will be trouble free but my Craftsman was 16 years old when it quit so it will have big shoes to fill. As far as performance, material, and workmanship it rates a 5 and we are very happy with it.
Used 3 times so far runs like a top
Great job as a Leaf Vacuum. Worked good picking up Wet Leaves around our Pool and Deck. Was pleasantly surprised at the Blowers Power, much better than the one I have. Started with no trouble by following Instructions. I found that the High Speed Nozzle didn't make much difference for me.
Not red as indicated. It is actually black (could be pink for all I care). Returned first one as it didn't operate properly. Would load up on full throttle and then shut itself off. Returned to store and exchanged for new one. Starts easily. Took a bit to get it warmed up, not like it says in the instructions. Needs more air to breath into carburetor intake. Once warmed up performs pretty well. Works for my needs. Don't really need vacuum aspect of this unit and probably won't use it. Really wanted a decent blower and this does just fine. All in all not a bad unit for the price compared to other units with equivalent features. Good rating is due to little longer warm up time than anticipated. I feel its worth the money.
Got a good price on this item. It's a step up from our last leaf blower - a little bigger, more speed and it is also a vacuum. (I have not used this feature yet). Easy to start up right out of the box. A little on the heavy side, but nothing horrible. We've only had it a few weeks, but have used it quite a few times and so far, so good. I will say that the neck/nozzle seems to get warm? I've noticed, if I grab it mid-way down to balance it while using it, it is hot. Not sure if it's the plastic or the air coming through? Only time will tell how it will stand up over time. We were disappointed that our last unit (different brand) only lasted a year and a half and it started falling apart during the first year! Hopefully we have better luck with this brand/unit. The reviews were very good, which is what prompted us to choose it.
I am 71 years old and this blower is one of the worst pieces of c__p I have ever owned. It worked for about three days and then it started missing and then would die.It will crank now and run but within 3 to 5 minutes it will start choking down and eventually it will die. I have tried to find a carb for it but after searching the internet I have been unsuccessful. If Wallyworld is going to sell this disaster blower they ought to be required to sell the parts for it. I would not recommend this product to an enemy much less a friend. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT-YOU WILL PROBABLY BE DISAPPOINTED LIKE I WAS.
This product ran 3 times with their synthetic oil and gasoline and stopped running so took it to their authorized repair facility and they claimed I had no oil in the gas and would not cover under their warranty or the extended warranty was a really big waste of money and time . So dont buy this and obviously im not the first this happened to!!!!!!
