Have had this for 4 years now and have no problems with it. I take care of my own yard and a large right of way and 4 cemeteries with no problems. All of my equipment is Murray and yes I have tried some other brands, but none hold up to this brand! Read and learn your product before using them and they will last for years. Also, do not use unleaded gas in small engines as it is what destroys them. I use ethanol free in everything I own!
they actually replaced this 200mhp blower with the 210 mph. As I was told the 200 mph one that I order was ready for pick up. When I went to pick it up it was not even in stock at the store. But the 210 mhp was. It priced $30 more but they gave it to me at the same price. It works great cranks on 2 or 3 pulls every time. And if it has been run that day and you get to another job it will crank on the 1 st. pull. With plenty of power
This blower works very well. I'd recommend it to anyone.
I've had this leaf blower for about a week now, and just used it for the second time. When brand new it took a bit of priming to get it started, but that is normal. Now it starts and runs fine and has good output and has little difficulty blowing the pine straw and other debris off my driveway. I do recommend ear protection since it is quite loud. I have noticed two things that are a bit annoying to me and I felt worth mentioning in a review. The air intake is located on the left side. If you hold the blower with your right hand you have to hold the blower away from your body or it will suck your clothes against it and block the airflow. That is fine for a while but the blower weighs about 11 pounds and will get tiring after a while. If you hold the blower with your left hand the hot exhaust is blowing out the right side. Of course there's always the option of holding it out in front with both hands, but that seems a bit awkward to me. I'm not sure if I will keep this blower, but I am going to research some other designs to see what is available. I do know that with my old blower I did not have these issues.
Leaf blower worked great
My first Murry and I pulled the string fresh out of the box , and the motor did not turn . Life happens .
Bought this blower, took it home put it together, mixed the gas and oil started easy good blowing power, then it stopped tried to start it again nothing, next day tried to start it wouldn't start. I took it back, I wondering if it was a refurbished blower.
Terrible product, took a little time to prime and start running up to full speed. However the major issue is that it vibrates so much that you have a tingling sensation in your hand after using this product. Certainly the engineers could isolate the vibration from the handle. Powerful blowing action, but lousy engineering.
At first it started as expected, but it would only sputter when trying to run it faster than idle. Later that day I tried it again. This time after sputtering for a long time, it seemed to clean up and run normally. I ran it long enough to use one tank of gas. About half way through the second tank of gas, it stopped and would never start again. I returned it for a refund.
At first attempt to start this was very difficult. All instructions followed. New fuel and correct, new oil mixture used. The first time it actually started was after 50 or so pulls. Once in operation it worked fine....for a while. After about five minutes the RPM will slowly drop until it completely stops. Then it will not start with any sequence or amount of attempts. Compression is good, fuel is good, spark is not. Fresh spark plug did not get any spark. It seems that the ignition is marginal when cold and fails as it warms up. I read other reviews that said this was hard to start but considered that these reviewers must have been inexperienced with small engines. I have fixed small engines as a hobby for decades and have never used a motor that is so difficult to start.
