It says its made for 2 year olds. I didn't realize that when I purchased this item for my son turning 1 year old. He loves his little music toys. He knows how to use the drum and all the little noise makers that come with it. I have a total of 4 boys, and all the boys from ages 1-10 have been enjoying this little first band set. I am very happy with the toys and they are very well made. I haven't had any issues with the instruments.
although the box says 3yrs and up my 18month old LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE playing with this toy... pros: the paint om the toys dont strip fun and easy to use enjoyable for all ages cons: the music is non educational and kinda lame wish Drum was a little bigger but its ok drum sticks are small overall: I would definetely reccommmend this toy for ages 1 and up
